Was driving through to get back to Iowa after an event in Minneapolis. This is a perfect place to stop for some food that captures a more modern but good old fashion café that sits in many small towns. I am almost sure it captivates the truckers next to the main drive to stop in for a hearty breakfast and a strong coffee. While also bringing in the local farmers and hometown folks for the warm environment it provided. The hostess was great and checked on me frequently. Offered some recommendations and let me know the deal of the day. I grabbed the French toast with a jam they are offering as a special. The heavy cream and jam were sweet and savory. They had it out and hot for my appetite in good time. Overall a prime spot if your looking for a good coffee and some sweet morning breakfast. Also they have some good sweet treats you can buy much like a Perkins however, I almost would bet this would have the love of a small-town baked into whatever you order. If you dont have much of a sweet tooth then definitely watch your order cause I definitely got my fill of sweet cream and jam but definitely welcome for me personally.

I didn't personally go inside but I ordered my food via a phone call. I looked on their Facebook page and Google Images for a menu as I'm not from here. I saw on Facebook they were advertising for kids to eat free with the purchase of an adult entree. I couldn't find a kids' meal anywhere so I just called and asked. The lady named off what they had for kids' meals. I told her I'd call back as I needed to talk to the kids. They decided they didn't want any of the food, no big deal. We still ordered our food from there. Our food was hot and good!! We got our drinks in to-go cups. I don't remember her name, but the woman I spoke with on the phone was very kind and patient when I had to ask a family member about a change to their order quickly due to being out of the breakfast gravy. I got the Feed Bunk, which consisted of tater tots, beer cheese, chopped green onions, pork, and I believe was BBQ sauce on it too. We also ordered the Dang Dilla Burger.

My family and I were in town because my nephew races. We stayed at a local hotel and this restaurant was across the way from it. We decided to check it out and we are SO glad we did. We were greeted by very friendly staff and seated very quickly. We had my nephew with who has food anxiety and it was very early so it was breakfast time and they did not have anything that he was able to eat off the breakfast menu. We talked to the staff and they went and talked to someone for us and they very gladly made him some fries and chicken strips. The food was all delicious, fresh and hot. Very reasonably priced and big portions. When we were leaving I saw one of the staffs shirts and it said served daily butt nuggets so I had to of course buy a shirt We will definitely return here when we are back in the area!!

This place is absolutely amazing; the staff, the food & atmosphere!!! The staff made us feel like Family even though we’ve never met. Hence Farmers Daughter… The food was so delicious in fact that, we ate so much we felt like they’d have to roll us out!!! Seriously, wear a bigger size pants if you stop here, y’all thank me later. If you are an emotional eater; this place is NOT for you; UNLESS of course you are prepared to spend thousands on a brand new wardrobe. Let’s just say this, if I lived closer I’d be eating here for all my meals, never to cook again; however I too, would be investing in a new wardrobe. The food is that good!!! I will be driving out of the way just to eat here again, road-trip y’all! And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, please TIP the cook as well as the staff; trust me you DON’T want them to leave!!! Nothing worse than a self righteous employee that doesn’t care & pretends (nice) just to get a tip. Trust me pretender, we can see right through your nice! These people at Farmer’s Daughter restaurant are genuinely kind, funny & treats you like Family: FUN FOOD & FAMILY, I felt their should be motto! Road trip...
