McDonald's — Restaurant in Blue Earth

We were sadly disappointed in our visit to this location despite the modern update of the building. We waited over 20 minutes for the food only to have luke warm fries that taste of stale oil, 40 pcs nuggets where 1/2 the batch was old and the other half were cooked too long. Even their coloring was two different shades of "golden" brown. Finally, the triple cheeseburger looked like a kindergartner tossed it together then assaulted it. It was squished and barely warm. Overall, the food was poor quality. Even the apple pies were over cooked. How do you overcook a timed item? The staff was nonexistent. When the kiosk froze, we had to stand and wait a good 5 minutes before getting help at the counter. Then,they took our order to another table despite the table tent number. The customer brought it to us realizing it was not theirs. Funny a staff member wouldn't notice a large order going to a single person sitting alone. The staff seemed more interested in the drive thru than the retail. We are life long McDonalds customers as both families grew up working in the franchise. All we know is this would not have passed in our stores on our watch. We will be avoiding this store as we continue our travels back and forth...

Normally I don't have trouble at any MCD, but this one has a older lady taking orders at lunchtime. Apparently she miss understood what I wanted . I asked about the current deal, it was chicken sandwich or hamburger. I said I'd like the burger . She apparently doesn't understand burger means hamburger & I got a chicken sandwich which has lettuce on it. ( Lettuce Must have a preservative on it to keep it fresh but it doesn't sit well on my stomach.) I did not check my order because I had a auto mechanic appointment & was going to eat while I waited. After mechanic got my vehicle I settled in to eat only to find out MCD gave me 2 chicken sandwichs. I literally had to eat, so I ate them. They were horrible tasting. Later because my body doesn't like preservative's I paid in the bathroom ( you don't need graphics description). I complained via the receipt survey and asked for my money back. I haven't heard anything from MCD. I sure hope they canned that old lady, someone could get really deadly sick because she can't listen or understand someone's orders. Be forwarded this MCD may not give you what you ordered. The mechanic wasn't surprised, so my guess is this...

WARNING- IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES STAY AWAY!!!!!! My wife is allergic to dairy, and luckily one of the few fast food items she can eat is a Big Mac with no cheese. We ordered a big Mac with no cheese on it, and the sandwich came with a tag on it that said no cheese. We took a look, and there was a piece of cheese. Not a big deal, we can just take it back and get a different sandwich, right? WRONG- we took it back, and the staff brought it back to the kitchen, and then came out with a sandwich. We hopped back in the truck, opened the sandwich, and they just peeled the cheese off and gave us the same sandwich! There were still chunks of cheese in the sandwich! We brought it back in and talked to the manager and she said, "Apparently just taking the cheese off isn't good enough..." She did not even apologize. Not only that, this is a big issue with food safety. The original sandwich went into our truck, back into McDonald's, and then back in the food preparation area! Food that has left the kitchen should never be brought back in and exposed to the other food! Typically, McDonald's is a safe place for my wife to eat, but we will NEVER...
