Arctic Circle — Restaurant in Bluffdale

Let me start off saying I generally really like Arctic Circle. I grew up eating it and I know what to expect. This seemed like a great quick option right off Bangeter that wouldn’t be too busy and we could hurry and grab some fast food. Oh boy was I wrong. The drive thru line wasn’t any longer than one would expect at dinner time. It took us forever to even order. I should have just left at that point. We finally ordered a chicken strips basket with tots and a drink. Not anything that should take a long time. After we paid they had us pull over and wait with a bunch of other people. Not sure if the cars in front of me were feeding a crowd, but it took forever. When they did finally bring the food, it stunk like it should not smell. Started with the tots. They were kinda gross but edible. Next the chicken fingers. 2 of us in the car had one bite, spit it out, and couldn’t have another bite. It was so disgusting, everything about it was off. The chicken texture, the fried part, the taste, everything. We were in a hurry and no way was I going back, plus we were already miles away by this point. I called to let them know they need to stop serving that chicken, something is wrong with it. It was not just the oil needing to be changed, it was BAD. They offered me to bring my receipt in and they would give me a new meal. I haven’t even taken them up on that because every time I drive by I get queasy just thinking about it. I had the unfortunate experience of ordering on their website this evening. I was presented with the options of ‘carry out’ or ‘delivery’. I opted for delivery, entered my information, tip amount and the placed the order. After an hour I called to get an update and the woman on the phone repeatedly said ‘we don’t do deliveries’. She would not listen to a word I had to say and said I couldn’t have placed a delivery order because they aren’t offered. Despite all my receipts and charges by arctic circle for both a delivery fee and a tip she said I have to pick it up. Eventually a driver was assigned by the delivery service and he brought the melted shakes and cold food to my house after his run in with the same person who denied that they allow deliveries. I’ve never seen a restaurant behave so poorly on a simple online order. The driver arrived 1.5 hrs later and he never received any payment from the service either so I had to pay again for...

Arctic Circle is a perfect place to take your family, friends, and others for tasty food, incredible service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The employees are always quick to help, and ready to rectify any issues that may arise, be it an incorrect order or a spilled drink. The managers are approachable and welcoming, fostering an open, friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. The building itself has a variety of tables and booths to choose from, and employees work diligently to keep everything clean and accessible to costumers. Along side the impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere, the food itself is nothing to scoff at. With a wide variety of deep fried foods, there is something to satisfy every guest.
