Had a bad experience here about 3 months ago and today was the final straw. The prior one ~ ordered a regular shake with a coupon. The tall red haired guy made it while the new woman took the money. However, the guy was not just clueless but rude. He made the wrong size, made a large. The woman and I told him he was supposed to make regular. He starts trying to tell us wrong and tries to make me pay for a large, I tell him 'no way' I want to use my coupon. So he basically goes into caddyshack mode, no large for you, and goes over to the sink and pours it down the drain. Yeah. Top notch customer service. Then today, I had a coupon for 5 classic roast beef for $5. I was amazed when I saw it in the flyer because this is a deal from like 20 years ago. And sure enough, it's too good to be true at this store. I spent 5 minutes in the drive-thru trying to yell it into the intercom. I guess they couldn't believe it or couldn't find it. The manager finally comes out to my car and I hand it to him to read, he's like "oh we're not taking this, no way". I try to patch up his professionalism pot holes, "So you're not a participating restaurant??" He just nods. I go over to Marion, booyah! They took it no problems. And they said they've seen that coupon all week and haven't heard of any other stores refusing it. Yep. I'm headed over to their google map listing to give a 5-star right...
Read moreI commonly get what Arby's calls a "Ruben" sandwich, which is generally the best sandwich on the menu aside from maybe the brisket sandwiches, if made right. Sometimes they manage to mess up the Ruben, sometimes in spectacular fashion.
In this case it wasn't terrible, but I did have to disassemble the sandwich and shuffle the meat to balance out the sandwich, which was quite lopsided.
Service was fast and the staff was friendly and took the order without any hassles. However, they failed to identify which shake was chocolate and which was "Jamocha", so we had to guess and eventually determined that both were plain chocolate.
Overall not bad... for an Arby's.
Edit for the sake of Arby's management: Glad to see you responding to your reviews. The staff here is great, they did a lot better than some locations I've visited.
The issue with lopsided sandwiches is pretty widespread, it's rare that I see a well balanced stack of meat on a sandwich at any Arby's location. Some preparers take that extra second to break up the blob of meat and make the sandwich more...
Read moreUsed the drive through- received our sandwiches and didn’t receive any napkins. Granted- we didn’t ask but that should be pretty standard stuff. When we did ask for extra sauce packets it was like we were asking for them to perform a Sunday miracle or something. They didn’t want to give us any of their previous sauce packets- other than the obligatory 1 per sandwich.
We ate in the parking lot and there wasn’t even a garbage can in the lot to throw our Arby’s waste into. I did see others throw their bags in the parking lot. I can only imagine it was their way of protesting against mediocre customer service and insanely ridiculous sauce packet policies.
I’ll make sure I pass up Bluffton Arby’s the next time I’m...
