Possibly the worst service ever at a restaurant they tried to seat 8 of us at a round table for 5 normally. When we asked if a few of the 4 person tables could be pulled together since there were about 15 empty they reluctantly did. They then switched our server 4 times. Took 2.5 hrs from when we ordered to get food. Only refilled drinks 1 time and then never came to get our credit cards the staff was all sitting talking so after 15 min we just left cash and left.
Additionally the portions were fairly small and the staff treats the members on the property and guests to the property very different. This was also disappointing because our wife’s had a good lunch experience while we were at golf. Not sure why it went like it did but was evident the staff wanted to prove a point they would make our nights service as terrible as possible for asking to sit at a more comfortable table when half the...
Read moreMy wife and I had a reservation for dinner tonight at 5:30 PM at Buffalos. When we arrived, despite the fact that every table was open, we were seated next to the host stand. When I politely asked to be moved to a different table, I was met with a rude and inconsiderate response from the host. The host explained that the computer randomly assigns guests to various tables, and they cannot make any changes to the seating. This was a first for me, and I’ve never encountered such a policy before.
Buffalos is now owned by the Montage Hotel, and unfortunately, their staff does not seem to reflect the high standards the Montage organization is known for. It’s particularly disappointing because we live just a few blocks away from Buffalos, and it would have been nice to have a friendly, welcoming restaurant nearby.
I wanted to share this feedback in hopes that future guests have a more...
Read moreI use to enjoy going to Buffalo's until they changed the menu. To be honest their food was never a big "WOW" but it was decent and the atmosphere as well as the location made it a wonderful experience. My husband and I went last week, the first thing I noticed the deserts were no longer in the case near the door. They replaced the deserts with a box of pasta, a block of cheese, a can of tomatoes with a couple of other things to give the impression they are now an Italian restaurant. Once we were seated I looked over the menu. It was their lunch menu or at least I was to believe, until I saw the prices. One dish was quinoa, butter squash, fennel, herbs and olives, which seems like a lunch for about $12.00 to $15.00 ...they are asking $22.00. Nothing in that meal at lunch time is so expensive they should be charging dinner prices. I was so angry we walked out and will not...
