Great local brewery with excellent pizza options. We went on a Sunday night for dinner. We called ahead to make a reservation because we had a party of 12 including 4 kids (6 to 10 years old). We arrived right at 5:45pm and they had a table set up ready and waiting. We ordered waters all around and then drinks. Most got beer but 2 ordered cocktails. The cocktails took a little longer because the 2 ladies behind the bar were not old enough to make mixed drinks but old enough to serve beer. Our server was the only one old enough that night to serve liquor so it took longer for him to get a chance to make the cocktails. We were able to order soon after and the food arrived in a decent amount of time. Kids meals were first, followed by 5 pizzas and then 2 pasta dishes. Everyone agreed all of the food was amazing. Pizza was really good. They only had 2 sizes and the small pizzas would be enough for 2 people if they weren't super hungry. They only had 3 of their own beers on tap and the rest were from other area breweries. All of their own beers were pretty good, we all enjoyed them. Along with rotating tap list they do offer a full bar. The atmosphere was nice and clean. They renovated the old train depot and it was a cool space. They also have a huge outdoor space with yard games available to play. The kids had plenty to do outside once they ate their food while waiting for adults to finish. We appreciated all the large windows facing the yard to keep an eye on the kids from inside. Staff was kind, friendly and professional with an aim to please and create an enjoyable experience. Not sure we'll ever be back to Boardman since we were just passing through for the night but if we are, we'll definitely go back! It was a great dinner,...
Read moreSo making the order over the phone was almost enough to not get anything from there, first my wife asked “if they’ll do a half and half pizza.” Which he said “yes.” She ask for 2 different styles that had 2 sauces. He said “they can’t do 2 sauces.” Because you know that’d be to difficult to figure out how to do that. So she told him make it with just the one. He then sighed and said well I guess. While I was listening to my wife make the order. I thought this guy really hates his job. But whatever we ordered and when I get there he tells me it’s roughly $50. I hand a 100 and he tells “he doesn’t think he can brake that,” I tell him “that’s all I have” without looking he says “yeah I can’t break that.” Then tells me “You can go to a gas station somewhere and get change.” Well the order was placed over the phone for pick up because I was pressed for time. So going around for change was not happening. I tell him “ok you can keep the pizza.” And go on bout my business. This clown follows me outside shouting “you have to buy the pizza, you have to buy the pizza, because you made the order. If you don’t, don’t come back.” Boy I won’t be coming back and anyone I know won’t be either. If you follow a customer out your business telling them what they’re going to do. You business won’t be around long. Not to mention if someone else feels threatened by a guy dressed in all pink following them outside shouting what they have to do. That could be a liability. I recommend not going and dealing with this little guy. And the fact they don’t have $50 bucks in their register for change. Should tell something. I don’t make reviews but I feel this was good time for one. Should be a zero star for...
Read moreNOT LEGIT PIZZA: We stopped by this place during a road trip, just looking to grab a quick bite and get back on the road. We were told the pizza would take 20 minutes to make, which was fine — but we ended up waiting over 30 minutes. During that time, we noticed multiple people who came in after us got their food before we did. 15 minutes into the order they come back up to us and asked what was it that we ordered.
When we finally got our pizza and got back on the freeway, we realized they gave us the wrong order. I called the place right away, and they agreed to remake it. So we turned around, drove back, and waited another 20 minutes. Then I was told that they accidentally burnt the second pizza and needed to remake it again. I said I have no time to wait because we were in a hurry.
They did refund me, but at that point, we had wasted nearly an hour and left with no pizza at all. Super frustrating experience, especially since we were just trying to grab something quick and keep moving. Won’t be...
