La Casa Mexicana — Restaurant in Boardman

Came here for the first time to celebrate my daughter's birthday and this place didn't disappoint. La Casa Mexicana claims to be authentic Mexican food and the claims are 1000% true!! I selected the Chile Verde, my wife chose the steak quesadilla fajitas, my son had the pollo loco and my daughter had the chori pollo. All the food was amazing and my wife and I shared an agua de horchata which tasted Awesome! We all shared an order of churros since it was my daughter's birthday. A couple of waitresses and waiters sang Hapoy Birthday in Spanish for my daughter which we appreciated. Will definitely be returning as we have now decided to make this our only Mexican restaurant to eat at.

Lied about discount on drinks, when questioned server wouldn't fix mistake. Other customers commented on it and still server started talking in circles. Was only $2, but lying and refusing to fix their mistake will keep me from every returning. Which is ashame because the food was good, but lying to customers and showing no integrity is going to get me to spend my money elsewhere.

In response to the owners reply, my order was for a draft. I had a large draft and your server said it was only for small. Even after sending him to review your posted board which clearly said "$2 off ANY Draft". The other customers I referred to were also talking about drafts. This proves my point that you won't take ownership of YOUR mistake. Do not worry, I will never return to your business to be treated poorly again. My mom and I went there today for lunch since we've been dying to eat this ever since it first opened. Our first impression was wow, I was honestly so stunned by the decor and the atmosphere of the space. It felt so clean, neat, and organized. The restroom was also very nicely decorated and I just overall enjoyed the entire space. The service was great! They did not waste any time to serve us or others, they were moving fast and that's great. The food was alright, I come from a mexican household, and I can say that it is definitely not spicy to my liking. I understand that not everybody likes hot/spicy food, but when you come into a mexican restaurant that's what you're expecting. Besides the lack of spice, it was good.
