Save A Lot — Local services in Boardman

I have a few things to say about the Save A Lot In Boardman after reading others comments I do not like some of them at all! First off...My Husband & I shop there all of the time! The Staff is wonderful...and when we are there it is like walking into a place that knows us like family. (Let me mention a few names...Brian is a great Manager, always so nice and if something is not there he makes sure it is ordered if the product is available. Larry is a great Assistant Manager and does the same. Lorwena (may be spelled wrong is always sweet and takes care of us and chats when checking out.) Cathy is a true sweetheart and we love her! Austin is always on top of his job...if it's not on the shelf, he will go in the back and check! He is great!) I do not know the others by name...but these that I mentioned do know us and they are great when you feel like that walking into a store! As for the comments seen about bad meat...we never have we had an issue...some are marked down at times as well as Giant Eagle and other stores do as well, etc. so don't say it was bad, smelly...there are dates on it! Then you have the person talking about the new colors of the walls...seriously? Are you looking at the color of the walls or purchasing food??? Your store came a long way from the flooding issues and we are so glad you are open again. I just can't believe some of the comments with everything that is going on in this world right now that people have to make such stupid comments and actually...looking to get something for...

I used to work at this store...was great when Brian was the Manager. It really went you know where in my opinion! The new managers are rude and do not even say hello when in the store or ringing you out! Not a word...sad for all the money we spend here. My husband and I quit shopping there for about a month and gave it another try but it is just terrible. The first thing you see is the lobby walking in which is a total mess. One cashier with five in line...unreal! Meijer, Marc's and Giant Eagle are not like that...Just sharing my view since...

The new Save a Lot was great! Everything has been completely redone since the Boardman Plaza flooded; it is all sparkly and brand new and looks great. We got there kind of late: they close at 9, we were just checking out at 8:50 but the woman who rang us up was friendly and, when I apologized, told me not to think about it for another minute- and I could tell she meant it. Our shopping trip was a nice experience- and I don't even like to grocery shop!!! You should go there- and I didn't even tell you how great the prices and...
