Read moreFor those of us that love Indian food this restaurant is basically mediocre. They rely so heavy on garlic, (which I love ), that you can't taste any other spice that make Indian food so scrumptious. This place is clueless and no one could answer basic questions regarding differences in their curry. This restaurant only serves very plain/bland white rice. When I asked if they served saffron rice as an option, which I would gladly have paid for, the waiter thought I was crazy so I had him to ask the cook. He came back angry which I found very appropriate. We finished our mediocre meal of basic chicken and an eggplant curry and when the check came there was an order for a vegetable pekora that we did not orde. We informed the waiter and instead of correcting the bill, the waiter threw a loud inappropriate tantrum accusing us of trying to get free food. We asked to talk to the manager and he said he was in charge. My friend and I were dumfounded by the experience, paid our bill and left. Between the lousy food and arrogant staff, this was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant! Save your money, drive a little further and explore some of the wonderful Indian restaurants on Sample Rd. in Coral Springs. Any one of them puts this terrible...
Read moreMy kids and I wanted to visit Florida before their school year begins again, it had been an amazing vacation so far, and we were driving around the area of Boca Raton; with the intent of finding a good place to eat. Since we were craving some traditional Indian food, we stumbled upon Bombay Grove and decided to try it out… what an awesome decision that was!! When we arrived inside and got seated, I already knew that it was gonna be worth it. The general atmosphere was very pleasant, and the fact that there were already a lot of other people enjoying their meals made me very excited. When we ordered our food our waiter was very kind and understanding to help me and my kids know exactly what we wanted on the menu. It was a surprisingly short wait, and both me and my kids ate every last bite of our dishes!! (Also it was the little things; the smell of the place, the background songs that were playing, along with cricket games being aired on the TV that truly made it nostalgic!) Now we know- Bombay Grove truly is and was the best experience of Indian cuisine that I ever had! With that said, if you are ever in the Fort Lauderdale or Boca Raton area, I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try! I can’t wait...
