Owner is unprofessional, has a major temper and is overheard using the f word in the background of a phone conversation that I am having with his female employee in regards to a past order discrepancy.
I placed an order with this female employee on Monday for a Mandarin Chicken Salad with no cranberries and extra mandarins. Added a soup and was told it will be $14 and change. I've ordered this same order prior and the total sounded a little higher. I questioned the employee Monday as to was this just for a salad and soup and she said yes. She never informed me of the .75 open item charge for apparent extra mandarins which is discovered at the time of delivery.
Order arrives on delivery and I leave the driver a $3.00 tip and notice a .75 cent open food item on the receipt and figured it's for the extra mandarins but it was never disclosed nor was I ever charged for it on previous orders in place of the cranberries. Delivery driver says he will tell management. I hear nothing.
Today, Thursday, three days later comes and I decide to re-order while mentioning the .75 open item charge and the entire order process to the same female employee that took my order Monday and I informed her that she never told me that there would be an extra charge and even when she recited the order back she never told me. She asked me for the last four of my credit card to look up the past order and asked if I knew who the driver was that said he was going to notify management. I said no.
So with me on the phone she asks her restaurant staff if anyone delivered to my place of business and had a complaint on a .75 open item and what was it for, the extra mandarins she questioned. One driver spoke up and said yes and she asked him what did he do about it. Sounds like he did nothing as no one chose to address me, the customer. Meanwhile someone in the background, (happens to be this male owner) is heard communicating with the female employee that I am on the phone with numerous times with his voice really elevated with anger.
I mentioned to the female employee that I wasn't previously charged for mandarin oranges and she says that I should've been charged for it as the mandarins are more expensive and that we haven't been charging for it but we will be and that we do not substitute, we are like McDonalds, they don't substitute.
She said that I'll take your order today and won't charge you for the extra mandarins. I asked how much extra is extra cause it doesn't seem like much comes on the salad so she asks the owner in the background how much comes on it and he says with an elevated tone a handful and that he gave double that. I also said well I don't even eat the tomatoes she said still it doesn't matter we aren't going to substitute it and this male owner then is heard screaming in the background using the f word so loud that the employee tries to cover up his voice with hers but yeah too late for that, so I questioned who is that a-hole (using the real word)? She says it's the owner and since you said that we won't take your order. Oh, my loss lol!
Did she really think I wanted this lunatic of an owner preparing a salad for me ever again? Do you think there might be a ton of other restaurants to make me a salad and deliver it? I was so fine before I was introduced to your restaurant and believe me I will be so fine without it. Salads are just basic anyways. Lettuce always seems dirty and unwashed while the chicken comes unchopped, so be prepared to use your knife on a salad. I only liked the dressing, but I can get that at a few other restaurants I know of.
Happy to know that the female employee compares Fresco Foodworks to McDonalds. Pretty certain McDonald's treats their customers better and owners wouldn't be heard screaming from the background the f word! If you own and run a business learn to know how to address customers, clearly this male owner is in the kitchen preparing food for a reason.
Be warned, he is who prepares your food and by the reviews, without gloves! Can't wait to share these reviews...

Now my co-workers order lunch, and breakfast from this restaurant practically everyday and even though one or two of us had bad experience we still order. Yesterday i ordered a small salad with a Maui smoothie and during my indulgent i had a surprise--- HAIR IN MY SALAD!! I called and advise them of the findings and another was brought to me.
Today 4/9/2019 we decided to order again and the owner who took the order at first was very rude and disrespectful to my co-worker. Still did not cancel as we decided again to forgive. I decided to call back to add a Turkey Rachel to my order and Oh MY GOD The owner was livid to the point she yelled at me with such hostility in her voice.
I told her to forget the add and keep it as Is.. She disconnected the call. I decided to let my co-workers know about the experience i just had with Fresco so, they decided to call and that was a mistake.. The owner let her have it.. Yelling at her saying we call yesterday complaining about hair.. changing our orders etc.. Be mindful we always have multiple orders and sometimes add on's But, this is the straw that broke the camels back..PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.. THE OWNER IS VERY RUDE.. BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU HERE WE COME!!!

Read moreI called this morning and placed 3 separate breakfast orders over the phone for delivery. I was speaking to the woman who answered the phone. As I was making each order I was asking questions and had to make a change to one of the orders. When the order was complete and as I was about to hang up the phone I heard the woman say "If you can't afford it don't order it!" Then she hung up the phone. So I called back to speak to the "Owner" the same woman says that she's the owner so I told her that I had a complaint about her. I reminded her of her comment. She admitted that she said it and that she said it because she was stressed and I was asking too many questions and changing my orders and other irreverent excuses to justify her rude and IGNORANT comment. I reminded her that it's her job and what she said was inexcusable and unacceptable. She had no remorse for what she said and didn't offer an apology but only after I asked her if she was going to apologize. And to top it off the food SUCKED! I will not be giving this business my hard earned...
