I would go daily to get a salad. The food is great, service is OK but they get orders incorrectly frequently and often charge you double for items. Several times I got charged for 2 cookies when ordered one. I finally said something and the owner was willing to correct the mistake but didn’t understand why I was annoyed. It happened several times. Recently I bough 15 breakfast sandwiches and hash browns for a meeting and gh literally gave me a bag filled with jelly, for what reason I don’t know, and it was not just a handful, it was over 30 packets. The next day I went for lunch, ordered a salad and asked for a few bell pepper crisps. The staff member said no. I was only permitted 1 packet. I offered to pay and they said no. I drove away and decided to go back and get a refund. I asked to speak with the owner because it made no sense that I asked for a few extra and was denied yet the day before was handed 30 plus packets of jelly for egg and cheese sandwiches. This made no sense but when I asked and offered to pay for a few extra packets of bell pepper crisps I was denied. He said this was a training issue but offered no apology, didn’t try to resolve it and said there is a another location at the mall, go there. I wasn’t rude nor disrespectful yet I was shamed in front of his staff. One of his staff came outside and apologized because they knew he didn’t understand nor treat me as a customer. He dismissed me like I was causing a problem. So my suggestion is to go to the location in the mall, which is less then 3 miles away. I did call corporate and I am waiting for an apology. I spent a lot of money there and do not accept this level of service. Nothing will get resolved as corporate basically handed him my complaint and protocol. Avoid this location. This also by far isn’t a busy location, obviously there is a service issue, especially when your staff apologize...
Read moreSometimes you don't realize who you're talking to. As an operations director of my company, I deal with people all day long and for a company who prides themselves with taking care of people, this was just a bad experience. So l went through the drive-thru to get my lunch and the staff at the drive through were amazing, friendly and my food was hot and tasty. I parked away from the drive-thru and ate my lunch. Moved my car back to the entrance and went inside to ask for a refill of my beverage. While walking into the restaurant, what seemed to be members of management walked in ahead of me and went in the kitchen. Standing waiting to be assisted, one of those two employees who seem to be members of management came up to me and asked if they could help me. I politely ask for a refill of sweet tea. He said but you came from your car, I said yes I went through the drive-thru. He said we normally don't refill beverages through the drive-thru. After about 3 minutes of bickering back and forth. I was finally offered a refill. As a customer of the restaurant that should not matter where I decide to sit whether it be in the dining room, outdoor seating or in my car. I feel I should be entitled to a refill. While my complaint might seem somewhat comical. I think it was more an issue of social profiling. Best to the fact I was unshaven and had just come from the beach. Looking so much scruffy. I feel it was a poor judge of character and bad customer service. I always have great experiences at Chick-fil-A. However this location will no longer be reward with...
Read moreI have to say, the customer service at Chick-fil-A Palmetto is absolutely top-notch, and a huge part of that is thanks to Brent, the owner. From the very first time I met him, he was incredibly polite, asked me where I was from, and took a genuine interest in our conversation. I told him I was originally from Brazil but had been in South Florida since I was a kid. That day, I had some issues with the app—totally my own fault—but when I finally placed my order on the spot, Brent went above and beyond. He personally made sure his team prioritized my food so I wouldn’t have to wait longer than necessary.
A few weeks later, I went back, and to my surprise, Brent not only remembered me but also my name and where I was from! He even greeted me in Portuguese with “Tudo bem?”—such a small gesture, but it meant so much.
Brent is the definition of exceptional customer service. He truly cares about his guests, making every person feel welcomed and valued. It’s rare to meet someone who goes the extra mile with such genuine kindness and energy. If you’re looking for a Chick-fil-A with amazing food and an even better experience, this is the place to go.
Brent, you are the man! Keep up the incredible quality and service—your energy will always attract goodness and success. Wishing you and your family many blessings!
