We’ve been regular guests at First Watch in Boca — coming here for breakfast every weekend for several months. We always appreciated the excellent service, cleanliness, delicious food, great coffee, fast service, and fair prices. It used to be our favorite weekend breakfast spot.
Unfortunately, our last visit was disappointing. On Saturday, we had to wait a long time to be seated, even though the waitress clearly saw us — she chose to seat other guests who arrived after us instead.
On Sunday, we also waited quite a while. After we were finally seated, no one came to our table for a long time, even though four servers were standing by the register casually chatting.
When our order was finally taken, I was simply given a pot of coffee instead of it being poured into a cup, as they usually do. That’s not a problem in itself, but when I went to pour the coffee, it turned out to be mostly just hot water. The coffee was replaced, but the new one tasted very weak and watery.
My boyfriend ordered The Works omelet with extra sour cream. The sour cream was forgotten, and even after reminding them, we waited about 10 minutes. Eventually, we had to go to the kitchen ourselves to ask again — no one was checking on our table. On top of that, the omelet was missing mushrooms, which are supposed to be included.
We truly hope this was just a one-time issue and that First Watch Boca will return to the high level of service we...
Read moreMy husband and I recently visited for a birthday breakfast, drawn by the quality and efficiency we've usually experienced here. Unfortunately, our visit didn’t quite meet those expectations. I ordered the three breakfast tacos, which are typically a delight, but they had an unexpected spiciness this time. Alongside that, I ordered a mimosa.
While we enjoyed the meal, the service was a bit lacking. I had to request my mimosa and extra napkins multiple times before they arrived. Moreover, our waitress, Jennifer, engaged in a conversation with me that felt more like a reprimand than an exchange. This interaction continued until we cashed out, which detracted from the overall experience.
When the manager brought my mimosa, I had already finished my meal. The tacos themselves were still tasty, though they were a bit runny. My husband had to share his napkins with me.
As an executive food and beverage director at a country club, I believe that Jennifer could enhance her service skills significantly with additional training. Jennifer was simply out of line. The water glass...

The thing is that we arrived at 7:15 am and the place was empty, after us two more tables got occupied. The ice coffee was more milk than coffee, so we removed half of the ice coffee to an empty cup and used the regular coffee and poor more in to it to make it taste like coffee.
Utensils were nice wrap but dirty. What’s happening in restaurants!?!
Ive visited this restaurant in Orlando FL, was a amazing. The one in West Palm Beach is pretty good too. We stop at this location because my boyfriend was in a competition near by.
The guy at the check out didn’t charge the ice coffee, but is not the discount - what I’m looking for is the service and good food that’s all.
Well they are new and need to get better from beginning to end. The place is beautiful! But service...
