I have now had dinner at Los Olivos twice and take out once and not only is the food outstanding but it is so original Argentine Cuisine. As a native Argentnian, I can tell you I have never had such authentic food in the United States. The menu is amazing with so many choices and it is hard to choose one dish over the other. My wife and I had a number of appetizers, Octopus, Empanadas, The Bistro Salad and Milanesa for the main course. The Empanadas are to die for, we tried one of each. The Octopus was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The mushrooms were amazing, The Milanesa was exactly as they are made in Argentina, truly brought me back to Buenos Aires. We had a sampling of the desserts and there is no sparing of culinary creativity. Everything on the menu is made at the restaurant, even the bread selection, all made by hand by Lisandro Patino, the Chef-Owner. He takes such amazing pride and care in everything he creates in the kitchen, and the personalized service is so over the top ! The entire staff is so attentive and caring to make sure that the patrons have a great dining experience !
And to top it all off, the prices are so reasonable for the great gastronomic experience offered. A special treat for now, until they get their liquor license you can BYOB your own wine to complement your dinner without a corking charge. Who could ask for...
Read moreWe've just discovered this delightful gem in the Polo shopping plaza. It's a laid-back place offering an outstanding menu with Argentinian and Italian choices. The Gambas al Ajillo appetizer, a tasty shrimp dish, is everyone's favorite appetizer. You can tell that the bread is homemade.....great flavor. I have fallen in love with the huge salads, especially the spinach salad, loaded with roasted butternut squash, avocado slices, crispy parmesan cheese (delicious!) and pancetta. The light, homemade dressing is a perfect complement. I add strips of very tender steak, cooked perfectly to my requested medium rare. This is my main dish, and there is always enough to take home for a second night. My husband's favorite is the ravioli with beef ragu. Other tablemates have raved about the strip steak, the various paellas, the cute little tarts called canastitas and the red sangria. We've always eaten outside, but the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with an understated touch. And service just can't be any better when Alex is working - so prompt, like a...

The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food which was delicious.
Being from Argentina but not living there I always look for a taste of home when traveling. This place hit the spot. Between all of us we had milanesas, steaks, fries (don't miss a la provenzal), salads, empanadas and more. All perfectly cooked and very delicious. Can also say the prices were great compared to others.
Lisandro the owner answered the phone when I had called ahead to check about seating for our party and then came out to say hello when we were dining.
Our server Gustavo was on point with everything and enjoyed chatting up soccer with my son.
We left with a huge smile and will absolutely be back when back in Florida.
Muchas gracias a todos por una...
