24NOV21 update. Still go to place to eat with family. The Yo-yo's nachos steak is excellent and enough for two. They are having a hard time getting southwest egg rolls in stock, so don't get your hopes up just in case they're short. I did check and their taco meat is flour free which is awesome if you're wheat sensitive. Good place for family dinner and Bree is an excellent server.

Miss Brandy and Heather are excellent servers. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. This establishment is very clean and has excellent cooks preparing Mexican and American cuisine. The lunch special portions are generous.

As you sit, you are brought chips and their homemade salsa (which is tasty). I highly recommend ordering the house queso sauce. The queso sauce is thick (sticks to your chips) and has a very light flavor which nicely offsets any heat from any of the spicy cuisine.

The appetizer platter is an excellent introduction to the other appetizers as well as visual indication of the preparation the food goes through as well. The onion rings were a little over cooked. The mild hot wings were extremely tasty and I might stop in again just to get an order of them.

The southwestern egg rolls are delicious and just saved me a trip to Metairie (the location of the only other restaurant that makes them close to this good). I highly recommend them.

The shredded chicken chimichanga's are delicious and children approved.

I had the steak fajitas and they were perfect. I even had enough to take home and enjoy as a evening snack.

The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

This is a restaurant I highly recommend and will return to. I didn't not notice any significant delay in service or seating us as mentioned in another review. This is a very well kept and relaxing place to eat.

There was a large gathering of people around the bar as we entered. We were seated far away from them in another room. The whole place was neat and clean. All the tables in our area were clean and set for guest. Our waitress was very prompt. Took our drink orders within a couple minutes of us sitting down. We were also given complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were still warm and the salsa had crisp veggies in it. Not spicy. We added queso dip. It is a white cheese dip that was hot! My friend ordered the chicken fajitas. They came out on a sizzling skillet, which the waitress warned it was hot. I ordered the ground beef burrito. As is, the burrito was $8.95 plus tax. For $2 more I had it topped with Enchalada sauce and sour cream. Their sweet tea was delicious. Also, before we ordered the entrées, we got a basket of pork skins. The serving was quite large and it shocked us that skins sound like they were still cooking(cracklin). This was my first time eatung here and I enjoyed it! I will return. Very nice and...

The food was good, even though I didn’t receive exactly what I ordered. The server was unprofessional and just didn’t do a very good job. We ordered 3 quesos along with our salsa and had to ask multiple times for chips, I didn’t receive a single refill on my drink, and my friend’s fajitas didn’t come out with tortillas for whatever reason. This was definitely a bad first experience here on top of our server not being very informative even though we let her know that it was our first time eating here. Also, the portions are the smallest that I’ve seen at any mid priced restaurant. My friends and I (who have all worked in restaurants for the past 4+ years) will not be eating here again, mainly due to the...

The food looks better than it tasted. The chicken fajitas were bland. No flavor whatsoever. The guacamole was good. We also got ‘The Happy Plate’. The chicken was dry. Couldn’t even cut it with a fork. The complimentary salsa and chips weren’t good. You can tell that the tomato sauce in the salsa came out of a can. Yuck! Our drinks were empty the whole time. Waitress never came and checked on us. The dine-in setup near the bar is horrible. The tables are too close together. You have to whisper in order to have privacy due to the lack of spacing between tables. Terrible experience. Probably will never go back.
