Ten and Two Coffee — Restaurant in Bonner Springs

HIDDEN GEM! We had our date night outing here and pleasantly surprised! This place reminds us of the Parlor Downtown Kansas City only with a more laid back vibe. We enjoyed our evening here and played a game of pool which is not the norm for us. The fall cocktail menu had the most delightful Ginger Hibiscus Martini. The Nosotros KC taco place inside here was absolutely delicious and a contender with Guy Fieri's Downtown KC taco joint. (At this time, the Taco place is only open Friday nights for dinner and Saturday mornings for breakfast.) They even have an indoor Golf Driving Range! Can you believe this is all right here in Bonner Springs? Great place for date night, friends, family and kid friendly (kids allowed until I think 9:00 PM). Must check this place out if you have not done so! They said a BBQ place is going to be added soon. We did not even make it upstairs to check out the other places. Coffee smelled wonderful but will have to try that for a breakfast outing (although they had quit a selection of coffer liquor drinks!) This place is pretty close to the LEGENDS. I came in with my partner on a Saturday morning. No one was in line, but there were several people in the seating area. We were greeted right away, but after that the interaction with employees was bare minimum. The drinks were mediocre. I ordered a large chai which was more sugar than chai. My partner ordered a hot chocolate which tasted okay, but was not very chocolatey. When the baristas placed our drinks on the counter, they quickly rushed away without looking at us or saying anything. It just felt a little rushed. I was also disappointed to find out that they don't offer whole milk. There are no vegetarian food options - everything has ham, bacon or sausage in it. I don't eat meat so we did not...

This coffee shop is so much more. I went for a friends birthday which I thought was weird since neither he nor his wife drink coffee. Thanks goodness their kids are human and partake. I thought we were at the wrong place, it was gigantic and had this really cool industrial rustic vibe. There's a lot of comfy seating around so sit and chat and enjoy a treat with your coffee. They also have pool, foozeball, cornhole and pickle ball. For the kids there's an ice cream shop and for the adults spiked coffees, mixed drinks, draught beers and smoothies all available without the extra alcohol. We ended up hanging out for several hours after just enjoying the space and more drinks. We will definitely be back...
