Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Bonner Springs

Worst experience I have ever had at a DQ. When we arrived last week, we were told they were only accepting cash (not an issue). So we said okay, we will goto the ATM up the street. 2 of the 4 of us stayed at the restaurant. The tables were all dirty, when we asked if they would clean one off for us the young lady working (pink/red hair and maybe 1/4" green gauges) gave major attitude about having to clean a table off. When we arrived back with the cash we were again told that they were only accepting cash to which we told them we were aware and would like to order. The same lady that cleaned the table seemed very irritated that we were still going to order and was rude during the whole order. After about 5 minutes we received our blizzards however, not our food. After sitting for about 15 more minutes we went up to the counter and they had clearly forgotten to put our order together. The lady that was putting the order together was very nice and apologized for the wait. We then started to eat and not even 5 minutes into eating (the cold food) the same young lady that took our order came to our table and said, "We close at 10 so I am going to need you guys to hurry up". This started a whole argument with the worker about how she has been nothing but rude, our food took forever to come out and was cold. When we expressed our issue with the situation she continued to be rude and eventually walked away shaking her hands saying, "whatever".

I have worked in the fast food industry before, I know that around closing time you just want to lock the doors and get out. However the way that young lady acted was very rude, very aggressive and very unprofessional. She needs training in customer service. We will not be dinning at this...

We just left the DQ in Bonner Springs . We ordered a lg carmel fudge shortcake blizzard. We waited alittle more than usual but when we got to the window my husband looked at it and said " its alittle melted isnt it" she said i flipped it so my husband took it. We should have flipped it ourself but we patronize the place alot. We all know if your fast enough you can flip a shake. The first spoonfull dripped. The bottom of the cup was full of chocolate that clustered in the bottom. Sure it would in a shake but not a bizzard. We should have trun around and asked for our money back. When I got home i called and asked to talk to the manager. She said she was, so i told her everything, she only asked if she flipped it and i said she said she did and she said then, theres nothing i can do. We were very disappointed in the manager. We loved going there but that will never happen again. We will refuse it and flip it ourself outside her window. ...

I always get a banana split when I go to DQ. It's something I look forward to in the summer. I was here a few weeks ago and remember leaving feeling disappointed. I decided to try it again today, once again Disappointed , but now I know why. Last week I stopped at DQ in Parkville for a banana split and it was fantastic in PARKVILLE! For $6 I felt like I'd had a meal ! Unfortunately, that is not the case at this location in Bonner Springs. The banana bowl was only HALF full. Small mounds of ice cream, barely any chocolate syrup...3 slices of strawberry only . They also forgot the whipped cream. I eventually ended up with 3 tiny splatters of whipped cream on top after calling them on it. Just a waste of your time and money for your these prices! I felt ripped off for $6. I definitely will not be returning to...
