I did not want to write this review until I saw what happened to my hair after I changed my hair stylist from Cameron here.

During the visit to pretty co, first I came to the appointment on time but she had another client that was still in the chair still drying. First I did not mind, and was able to sat down after 20 mins wait. After sitting down, I told her I wanted to do roots retouch and have toned to first picture. She said she cannot do all over bleach but highlights she can do. First, I did not want to do it and also did not know and have never seen mentioned that she cannot do all over bleach. I accepted the service and let her do her work.

After we finish bleaching and drying hair, I noticed that there was another client waiting for her at this point, and she was rushing my appointment with her which understandable. Cameron kept saying “it is not perfect” Which made me extremely uncomfortable but from front I thought it looked okay. I paid over $200.

Considering she said it wasn’t perfect hair, I changed the hair salon. After consulting with new hair stylists, she showed me shocking pictures of unevenness. Luckily she was able to fix it to what I like now, but just because I cannot see the back side, it is horrible…

I wish she told me it was patchy and wanted to get second visit, I would appreciate the honesty and come back again. But since she did not even ask for next appointment scheduled (which I get asked every time from different salons after hair appointment) I felt like she knew she messed up.

*after seeing the reply from salon There was no follow up appointment as they replied in fact, I asked to schedule for 2 months advance to do another re touch for next hair appointment. She never mentioned I needed two sessions, and didn’t even ask to come back until I asked her if I can schedule in two months. Lol (Wish I saw her work from behind and where I cannot see before I asked!)

I love this salon! First, Traci is a godsend and when I reached out because I was looking for a new stylist for extensions after having my previous ones out for a while, she was transparent with her pricing and clear in her mission and desire for me to have the best experience. I have fine, thin, flat-ass hair and she was patient as I scrolled through pictures of "dream hair" that I would probably never have (because menopause), yet she talked me through what was possible. At first, we tried the hand tied extensions (which is what I was used to). They were great, they looked great, all was perfect, no complaints. Then, she happened to show me the tape-ins she just received, and the flatness of them, the fact that it took less time, less to no tension points at all (which was a complaint of mine with the NBR as I was getting older) and to get the same outcome? Yes. Incredible. We pivoted and installed the tape-ins. They were 22's. I LOVE THEM. I didn't even recognize myself! They are easy to care for, I don't notice them on my head (in terms of pressure or discomfort), the color is stellar, and the overall look is very natural. Next, the look and feel of Traci's salon is something to behold...it's an old-timey aesthetic mixed with shabby chic and it's ALL GIRL with flowers, oversized mirrors, pink couches, concrete floors and a piped in playlist that never disappoints, whatever your mood. Plus, they have specialty coffees that they make, which are served in gold-rimmed teacups on gold-rimmed saucers on a bougie tray that I appreciate 100%. The whole experience is next level! When I go, I'm online and working while Traci and her team work their magic in the background. It's bliss and elegance personified, and I couldn't be happier and more grateful that I've finally found my "hair person." Pretty Co. is the ultimate in...
