My Mom got a gift card from one of her clients. (She is an accountant) So, I called to place an order. The person who answered the phone said "yeah" I replied "I'm sorry I thought I was calling Jersey Mike's"?? he said "oh, yeah it is what do you want? So, the rest of my order I placed was not well but I sucked it up thinking this kid is just having a BAD day. So, when my husband goes to pick up the order. After waiting approximately 15 minutes for him in the car.He came out looking agitated. He said The kid at the counter swiped the gift card and said that there's NOTHING on the card and he asked him for a different type of payment. My husband said What!! Why don't you try it again or how about punching the numbers in manually. When my husband handed me the card back it was bent to the point I don't know if it is usable. I never had Jersey Mike's before and I don't know if I ever will again. SORRY, but I don't recommend this Jersey Mike's. Maybe another in another town might be better!! Read moreI really wanted to like this place, and I gave it more than one chance. A couple of months ago, I ordered three subs and all three were made incorrectly. I was especially upset because I asked for no cheese due to dietary needs, and it was still added.
To their credit, the owners were very kind and made things right. I know how tough the food service industry is, so I tried to be understanding and decided to give it another shot.
Unfortunately, my most recent order was also incorrect. I sympathize with the staff as mistakes happen, especially when places are short-staffed or overwhelmed but at this point, it’s become a pattern.
