Buttercups Cupcakes — Restaurant in Bossier City

I drove down Airline Drive to the Bossier store and discovered that Buttercups had relocated to a new location, inside a restaurant. That seemed odd but I like the cupcakes and I wanted them for a gift. It feels awkward walking into one business to get to another and the entire feel of the store is now different. It's darker. It doesn't have the light, airy feel of a candy store or ice cream parlor. The staff is still very friendly and helpful and the cupcakes are still excellent but it's a different shopping experience. I personally prefer the Shreveport location.

I’m really disappointed about their new location. We used to drive to Shreveport once a month to get our hands on their delicious cupcakes. When they moved to Airline I was beyond excited. Not even a year later they moved to the inside of a steak restaurant. Someone told me they were bought out. The new location is neither welcoming nor pleasant to walk inside to pick out cupcakes. Being that my wife is a vegetarian, she wants nothing to do with these cupcakes. It saddens me that the new owner would take something so amazing and destroy it. GROSS GROSS GROSS NEVER BUY AGAIN. We purchased a dozen cupcakes for $50.00, 6 Wedding cake, 1 choc, 1 strawberry, 1 cin.toast crunch, 1 birthday cake, 1 fruitie. ALL WERE EXTREMELY DRY AND STALE. WHEN KIDS DONT EAT THE CUPCAKES THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY WRONG!!! The pieces of cereal that was on them was all stale and rubbery. We used to buy all the time when the cupcakes were twice the size. Now they are very small cupcakes and the price has increased. 12 CUPCAKES $50 BUCKS WOW, Not worth the money or time.
