I go to Popeyes very often(like every week) and I usually go inside to order, but today I had to go through the drive through seeing as I'm six months pregnant, and I'm supposed to be on bedrest. I waited in the drive through for 15 minutes, before even getting to order. This is understandable because I get that they can be busy sometimes. What I didn't like though, was the way I was treated when I got to the order part. Instead of 'how can I help you today' or 'can I take your order', the first thing im used to hearing when I walk into a popeyes, the person taking orders rudely asked if I was using cash or card. This still wouldn't have made me mad if the person had at least said it without the rude tone of voice. I tried to ignore his attitude because maybe the guy was just tired. I told him I was using a card and he said that I would have to go inside if I wanted to use my card. I asked if he could just take my card over to the counter to complete my order because id already been in line for 15 minutes, and I was tired. This guy laughed at me and denied my request. Its like five steps to get to the counter, ive been inside of this location before. I thought that maybe he didn't understand my request or that he thought it was too complicated. I only wanted a chicken sandwich and a tea, ive been craving it all day, so I explained my plan to him. It didn't sound complicated to me, if I wasn't pregnant then I would have still gone inside. I wish I could have gone to the window to get this guys name, because ive worked in this industry before and I know that it isn't okay to laugh at customers misfortunes. I had told him that I couldn't go in because of my condition and he laughed again. At this point I just left the line, and parked for a little bit. I called my husband in tears because the guy laughed at me for not being able to go inside cause im pregnant, and id been waiting for 15 minutes. My husband told me that I could go some place better in hopes of making me happy but I didn't want to. By this point id lost my appetite and decided to just go home and eat there. So now im home and I still haven't had my sandwich and tea that I had been...
Read moreHonestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was completely shocked. I'd never eaten at Popeyes before coming here, and I was excited to try the new chicken sandwich that is supposedly really good. I had somewhere to be soon, but it wasn't for about 30 minutes, so it was the perfect time to stop by and finally give the popular sandwich a try. There wasn't a single person in the building as I walked up to the counter to order. There was about 10 people in the back, and after standing there for 15 seconds or so, no one had come up to take my order, or at least say they would be there in a minute. I said, "Excuse me" multiple times, and was still ignored. After about 5 minutes, someone asked me what I wanted. They got my order wrong, so I had to reorder, which was unusually difficult to do. When my order was finally in and I paid, I walk over to wait for my food, expecting a few minutes wait, or 5 at the most. 20 minutes later, my food still wasn't there. I wasn't about to be late to where I was going, so I told them I'd be right back. They didn't write down my name or anything, but I had to go. I came back about 10 minutes later. I waited for my food another couple of minutes, and finally recieved it. No apologies for the wait. No offering to make up for great inconvenience they had caused me. No apologizing for having me leave with my money in their hands and no food in mine. Nothing at all like that. They just handed me my bag and that was it. The sandwich was lukewarm, and there was hardly any actual chicken on it. They advertise it to be this huge, delicious sandwich, and I can't say it wasn't big. Most of it was just breadcrumbs, though. I ordered a chicken sandwich, not layered bread. I honestly should have left before they took my order, so I could have saved an hour of my day and gone somewhere that was at least relatively decent. So much for "fast" food. Honestly, that meal couldn't possibly count as either of those. I do not recommend you visit here. Unless you want to deal with unmanageable service and end up with food that can't even be considered...
Read moreI came in today with 2 other people. It took several minutes for us to be acknowledged, when someone did take my order, instead of ringing it up they immediately turned around and started making it and then started making someone else's order completely ignoring the other 2 people with me. 10 minutes later the rest of the orders are taken and my food has been sitting out the entire time. They didn't get my order correct and charged me for 2 gaveys didn't order. When I tried to get the manager's attention she made eye contact with me and then turned around and ignored me I tried several times to get her attention but she ignored me every time. As we were sitting in the lobby about to finish eating I overheard one of the 12 people working say there are pissed off customers in the lobby and someone else laughed loudly. Also the woman wearing the button up shirt today coughed all on the chicken thighs that were in the hot trays ready to be served which was disgusting and if the Mexican place wasn't so busy I would have left them immediately. I ordered the tenders but she probably coughed all over those too. AND they are out of spoons/forks/sporks but couldn't bother to tell us that before we ordered 3 sides of mashed potatoes
