YOU MUST EAT HERE! Let me start off saying by I used to hate the restaurant here before Ramirez came here & wow !! RAMIREZ WAS SO GOOD. I’m a huge fan of the original Ramirez on pines road but this one is my favorite. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and we were seated in a booth. The restaurant is so clean and open. As soon as we sat down chips and salsa were brought to the table and our drink order taken and brought to us. We order our original order to compare to Ramirez on pines road and I think the food here taste better. Queso Ramirez, house dressing, guac, and fried ice cream. I was truly impressed. Best part about it I can drink their water and it doesn’t taste like dirt! I was so pleased I didn’t have to bring my own drink in. The other best part of our experience was Oscar our waiter. He was so quick with noticing we needed refills and taking our plates. He went above and beyond when brining me my water cup with extra lemons! We were checked up on during our visit by almost everyone in their and they were busy. It was a fantastic dining experience!! Thank you to all the employees for doing such a good job!! Now I’m going to tell everyone to come to this Ramirez in bossier !! I would rate this restaurant 10/10 forget the 5 stars it’s even better !

This was our first visit to Ramirez and we were impressed. We arrived with a party of 10 and were sat immediately. Someone brought chips and salsa right out. The chips were a thin white corn and were very good. One of the highlights of the trip was the delightful salsa. It was flavorful with lots of cilantro and a spicy kick. So far it's my favorite salsa in the area. My Pollo Monterrey came out on an amazing sizzling platter. It was a grilled chicken breast on a bed of grilled onions and peppers topped with cheese. My 10 year old picked the dish out. It was a huge portion and we shared it. My wife ordered the Pollo la Crema which was grilled chicken in a cream sauce with onions and poblano peppers. My wife's dish was a very good light dish. Quite a different dish for a Mexican restaurant in a buttery cream sauce. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean. So to answer the question, "Would I go back?" I certainly would! It was a great experience and a great place to eat! Update We went back a second time and had the Chica Tacos. They were amazing and rank as the best tacos I've had in Louisiana so far.

We've been here three times and the food was good every time. Any time we've been here and they were staffed enough, we've had no complaints about the service. We've tried the quesadillas, enchiladas, fajitas, chimichangas and all of it has been good. I'm not normally one to wander too much around a restaurant's menu; I find a dish I like and stick with it, but I've been wandering this menu quite a bit. I like that the rice is never dry, I like that the guacamole is real avocado heavy. The use of cilantro in a lot of things isn't my favorite, but everything is good enough that I'm able to overlook that. The queso is a good middle ground between having some flavor and enough kick to it, and not being too spicy for my partner's palate.

We selected to eat at this establishment based off the Google reviews. They all mentioned how the food was amazing and the place had a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, that was not the case when we visited for lunch on May 22, 2021. First, the music was so loud to the point that everyone was having to talk very loudly just to be able to talk with the people at their table. When trying to talk to my own family it was almost impossible to hear them. When placing our order for our food, our waiter did not write anything down he just went off memory, which is fine, if you are able to remember your tables order. I had a feeling that something was going to come out wrong and sure enough, mine and my husband's did. However, that's not the worst part, people make mistakes and that's understandable. If you like a little food with your plate of grease, then this is the restaurant for you. I ordered the quesadilla, husband ordered the beef burrito, two of our kids ordered tacos, and for our toddler, chicken strips. Our tortillas and taco shells were so soaked with grease it was unedible and even changed the color of them. None of us ate our food, the only thing we ate was the chips we were served. My two year old even spit out her bite of chicken strip she took and wouldn't eat the food, that's sad. When our waiter asked what was wrong with the food, we simply told him it is no good and full of grease. He got upset, walked away shaking his head. After leaving hungry, we still ended up having to pay a $61 bill. That was after my husband's plate was taken off. Needless to say, this is one place we will not be visiting again when coming...

The quality and taste of the food were both very disappointing. The service was horrible. The crazy rice deluxe wasn't freshly made. The rice was noticeably dry. There was nothing "deluxe" about it, considering it was lacking key ingredients such as bacon and sauce. Not to mention, it didn't look anything like the pictures we saw. This was the reason we decided to try Ramirez, and we were highly disappointed. Our waitress was not very attentive or available. She disappeared several times. After finally stopping by to take our drink order, we waited for her return to take our food order, but she never came. We opted to get the attention of a busboy in order to place an order. When our waitress decided to return, we informed her that the busboy had taken our order because she never came back. She replied, " I know he told me." Our food arrived shortly, and we were missing tortillas for one of our dishes, and we were told would be out. They weren't, and again, we had to find someone to get our tortillas. The crazy rice didn't live up to the hype. The taste and presentation were lacking. The service and our experience here were unacceptable. The chips and salsa...
