Hope the manager reads this but doubt it very much.. Got an order to bring to patient in near by hospital. Receipts shows the right food I ordered. Person did not bother to put correct items in bag. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers (no condiments)plain. She just threw 2 regular cheeseburgers with all the fixings in the bag. Person in hospital couldn't eat it. Ordered single quarter pounder no onions.. Double quarter pounder with onions put in bag.(someone else's sandwich? Or one no one wanted. ) All the food was cold greasy and felt like it was sitting for a long time.. Quarter pounders are suppose to be made fresh. This one the roll was all broke up and greasy disgusting taste. Filet of fish also came with problem. Order came to quick to prepare burgers as ordered .. again she just threw what ever food was prepared already in the bag instead of waiting for correct order. 80%of the food ended up in trash. I felt bad for the patient in hospital. She has been in for a week and will be in for another week, due to a set back in her cancer treatment. She had not eaten in quite a few days and only wanted something from McDonald's. The only thing edible was the milk shake.. sandwiches and fries were horrific (really shocked). This McDonald's sucks. The don't care about their customers. I have been coming to this area for medical reasons for over 10 years. The Longwood food court was never this bad. Especially McDonald's. All the restaurants here have been turning out low quality food and poor customer service. Longwood needs some better places for quick food . Also with the food ,fries and other things, the order was over $30.00 and she wanted to charge extra .10 for shopping bag. Refused and...
Read moreStaff was courteous and efficient, but uninformed about food allergies despite serving their being a Massachusetts state law requiring staff to be trained and that they largely serve a medical community in the Longwood area.
I was specific about ordering my meal with "no bun" amd mentioned it was a food allergy. The reply was "you don't want your bun?" I repeated my food allergy.
Wxaming the receipt, the designation "food allergy" was missing and I approached a manager to ensure they would handle according to policy (change gloves, etc). The manager was confused and there was another that came forward and discussion ensued.
I would recommend that they receive training from corporate as well as the training required under Mass State Law (food allergy awareness). From my experience yesterday, they are non-compliant.
If you have a food allergy, I would not recommend this location...
Read moreI typically like to have fun with McDonald's reviews but this particular one is absolutely incredible. The food is in the top percentage of McDonald's. But what really amazes me is the service and efficiency. The staff is so friendly that it can be unnerving. There's no reason for someone at McDonald's to be treating me like I'm flying business class with Jet Blue. The speed in which orders come out doesn't interfere with the quality of the food (implying you care about quality at McDonald's when you're shoving a months worth of sodium down your greased up flesh pipes). This place is a logistical wet-dream. Fast food is already a juggernaut in any food court compare to the family-owned restaurants around it. But this one at Longwood Galleria is the Metal Gear of...
