I've been a regular here and this is going to be a cumulative review - nice atmosphere, classic American dishes, good assortment of menus (for both appetizers and mains), drinks and desserts. It's pleasant inside, and the bathrooms just outside the resturant (go to the left side from the main entrance door, past the door, and then turn right) are also well-maintained and clean. I like their drink menu, and they have great options for non-alcoholic drinks (=mocktails). I went for grilled salmon on cedarwood several times - really unique how they actually plate the salmon on a piece of wood. It wasn't salty and nicely cooked. The rice that comes with it tends to be bit too wet for me so I didn't like it. I also had salads few times, the portion size is pretty large and it will fill you up. Actually they have pretty extensive option of appetizers and shareables, so it's great when you come as a group. I find their desserts a little too sweet, but they are very rich if you are after comfort food. The staff are friendly and are dedicated to making sure you have what you need. Always had a great time there!
9/2025 update: the Thai Salmon salad is really good. Fresh vegetables with Thai soy sauce and salmon also was well-marinated and well-grilled. Would recommend!! Also the Clam Chowder had more veggies and sweet and tangy flavor than, say, Legal Seafood (sorry to mention the vendor. Legal seafood has more...
Read moreWe’ve been here about 10 times in the past 5 weeks since our son has been at children’s. Sitting at the bar is the way to go. Have not had one bad meal! Burger 👍🏻 nachos 👍🏻 buffalo chicken wrap 👍🏻 steak tips 👍🏻 sweat potato fries👍🏻👍🏻 and my all time favorite, the Mediterranean salad I’ve had it about 10 times if not more and it is so bountiful! I prefer with regular onions than pickled - there’s a lot going on in the salad. Love that it isn’t just a pile of greens it’s like a buffet in a bowl!! Delicious and filling with or without meat!
Absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the longwood area looking for some normalcy. Reminds me of a regular restaurant at home. Food and service is honestly way better than anything you find down in Fenway. In my opinion all the Fenway area menus are trying way to hard to be different, and the area is very overwhelming when you only have a small window to eat, especially when the drunks poor out of the baseball game and you aren’t on their level or willing to give up your arm for a parking spot. I went to college in the area and seriously regret not giving this place a chance years ago, you’ll feel like...
Read moreQuick bite and some drinks? This is the place to go! After work, my coworkers love this spot for their extensive combinations of drinks the bar can make (no drink menu, just tell them what you want and be ready for a substitution or change).
Food is made pretty quickly and quite tasty so it’s perfect for after work and going home after. Love the privacy of their booths, makes conversing so much more intimate and relaxed.
We got a pepperoni pizza, chicken Caesar salad, fries, nachos and chicken tenders (some not pictured).
The pizza had a perfectly thin crust with a doughy middle, great cheese pull! The chicken Caesar had some juicy and well spiced chicken which I was pretty happy about! Nachos were nicely loaded with the works from guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, lettuce and chicken. Just delightful! Chicken tenders were juicy and crispy on the exterior as well, very satisfied. The fries were a perfect thickness and cut, so crispy and delicious.
Best way to end a stressful workday! Definitely check...
