This body of believers has been a gift to our family (of six!) in more ways than one. Before living in Boston, we were encouraged in spirit and in truth through Mosaic's Biblical teaching (we found online). God made a way for our family before we even arrived through the hard work, sacrifice, and heart of the believers in Boston, specifically at this local congregation. Once local, we were warmly loved (prayed for, cared for, looked after) through community. We were unexpectedly blessed ten-fold through the excellence and priority of a strong children's ministry. And we were graced with deep friendships even with the knowledge that our family would only be physically there for a short time. And now, from a geographical distance, we continue to be spurred on through Biblical teaching, sincere friendships, unity of mission, and encouragement from how this body continues to be the hands and feet of Jesus. When a church (a people of God) does works of kindness in Christ's name, rather than in our own name or even in the name of kindness, it is powerful, humble, attractive, and good. My challenge to anyone looking for a body to come alongside in Boston, is to remember that YOU, in fact, are the church. (1st Peter) You have a part to play. You have a responsibility to own. And if you are looking for a people to trust in leadership and heart... stop looking ;) because your google search brought you to Mosaic. Plus it's right at...

I have been attending Mosaic Boston since the first month I moved there for school last fall, and I have considered it "my home church" ever since. I had done a little shopping around with a friend in September, but the first week we went to Mosaic we met so many welcoming and sincere people during the lunch after the sermon and didn't have an argument to not return the next week. Jan the pastor is excellent and preaches apologetics from scripture centered around the Bostonian intellectual mindset, which is something new for me (being from the midwest) but almost essential to be equipped with in a place like Boston. He is passionate for his church and his family and his God, and is an encouragement by the loving life he and his family lead in the city. One of my favorite parts about Mosaic is its weekly small groups, called Community Group, which meet in peoples' homes all over the city and are discussion-based gatherings to go deeper into the sermon on a smaller level. We have become very close in just over a few months, and I am eager for what God has in store for Mosaic Boston this year...
Read moreIf I lived in Boston, I would definitely attend the church service , I get spiritual food from the sermons because of the revelation of Jesus Christ preached from the old testament. This is vital, the apostles preached from the old testament, the oracles of God, it was the life blood of building faith Romans 10:17"so faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ" . Faith to the body comes from Christ alone, and I hear it in the sermons online and its good. A friend found the church online through the blue letter bible app and recommended the series on Daniel, I find it rare to hear an unadulterated Gospel of the kingdom of God and of Jesus Christ preached out of the old testament, maybe because its an intimidating and not well known part of the bible to america, overlooked often but the entire volume of the book is about Jesus Christ the author and finisher of faith, and so as a church I see that Boston Mosaic's leadership is focused on equipping the flock for the great commission to go and preach the Gospel and make disciples baptizing in the...
