New Saigon — Restaurant in Boston

This was possibly one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in with a family of 6. Greeted fairly quick. Sat us down and we waited another 15 minutes to order . The server repeated the order to us. We received the appetizers quick. Crab rangoons were great. Chicken wings are bland. Half of the table received the food thirty minutes later …after half the table finished eating their food, we still didn’t receive our other entrees. It’s been 45 minutes we then questioned where our other entrees were.a different server comes to the table and lets us know the sever do not put the order in. We were shocked but decided to wait for the food ..20 minutes later the food came out and half of us lost our appetite from the wait…took our meal to go. Also had to wait another ten minutes for a to go box after asking twice. The pho broth was mediocre, we had much better . Spicy beef noodle soup bland. Pork chop on fried rice was delicious. My son asked for Bubble tea. We went here, The honeydew shake was SO fresh.It tasted like biting into the fruit itself. Because we smelled the food, we returned that evening for dinner.We shared a very generous portion of Shrimp Pho and Sugarcane Shrimp. The sugarcane Tofu came with actual sugarcane and rice paper that you dip in hot water yourself. It was simple to do and aesthetically pleasing. We had fun making our own rolls. The vegetables are ROBUST and FRESH. The Pho Noodles perfectly cooked and best of all it was REASONABLY PRICED. The prices were so fair that we treated ourselves to the BEST Crab Rangoon we’ve had. I appreciated them accommodating my boyfriend with his steak & eggs for there to only be butter & oil no sauces (he's the picky one) and he LOVED the ban mi bread that came with his steak & eggs, the beef pho is VALID ASFFFFF not too oily, lots of flavor, we had a young male server with short black hair he was wonderful ! A busy lady brought out some of the meal I think she was the chef/owner all the dishes are made with love you can tell!! Hard to find that in this city of Boston, Good & Cozy vibes.
