Orient Heights Beach — Attraction in Boston

The parking was good, beach is a little rocky at low tide so would definitely recommend swim shoes. The beach area is nice with a park, bathrooms and concession stand but there are warning signs not to swim past a rope that is actually on the beach at low tide so not much in the way of actual swimming if you go at low tide and lots of little sea creatures! I have never seen so many hermit crabs in my life among snails and some other little critters whose name escapes me, but nice place to go and relax for a bit and watching the planes come and go...

I don't see this place as a beach, but rather as a spot for biking, taking my child to the playground, or walking with my dog. It has beautiful scenery, free parking, and a place to buy snacks. There's also a spot to wash off sandy feet with showers. It's a great place if you love planes because many fly overhead, as it's right behind or in front of the airport—I'm not quite sure. I’ve been going to this 🏖 beach since they renovated it and it very clean and safe they have life guards, food stand and plenty of parking and shades from the sun with all the 🌳 trees.
