Rino's Pizza — Restaurant in Boston

Years ago when Bridget ran the shop the food was awesome. Now the new management lady and her new husband/ co-manager/ former employee is running this place to the ground. Ive been a customer at this place for well over 15 years and now they're are just simply disgusting. No one washes their hands over there I witnessed one of the guys wipe his sweat of his forehand rub his hands on his pants then proceeded to give someone a slice of pizza with his bare hands. Not to mention no one wears gloves in this place, all types of cross contamination going on there and the board of health needs to run a thorough investigation on them. Its sad because my mom lived around the corner from this shop since 2001 so yes I've been a customer since. That's when Bridget and the rest of the crew was around now this place sucks food is horrible and pizza is wack now. In all honesty if you can just pass rinos and drive up the street to stashes at least youll get your money's worth and the workers are much cleaner then rinos. Look at like this my moms don't even order from there anymore she gets her food delivered from some place else. Pay for delivery charge or walk up the street to stashes when she have a pizza shop right down the street. Just goes to show how gross...

I called for a pick up shrimp chicken broccoli Alfredo soon as I called I wanted to make sure I had the right location so I asked the guy on the phone is this papa rinos on blue hill Ave he’s says very sarcastically it’s only one ma’m and laughs I said oh ok sorry isn’t there one on Geneva he’s says no that’s just rinos pizza mam’’ what do you want to order? I ignored it clearly he was having a bad day i don’t know I went to pick up my order up and wasn’t what I asked for $30 I paid for extra shrimp and only got 4 small shrimps and tons of chicken i also told the shop to please make sure the pasta was well done and it wasn’t it was very soupy and watery when I called the pizza shop back to explain my issue I was giving nothing but disrespect no apology no accountability no accommodation nothing I mention on the phone if Dina was there I wouldn’t have had this problem he says oh we’ll call and order food when shes working like who even says that to a paying customer just very rude and disrespectful I will never order...

Lobster ravioli 💟

I tried a few things here with my friends, I liked the lobster ravioli the best.

The server urged us to not order the ravioli right away. So we had to start with starters. This makes us order more, but they usually serve huge quantities so don’t fall into the trap of ordering multiple items like we did!

This was nothing like the usual Italian food I’ve had in other places, I suppose Rinos serves authentic Italian food.

Seems like it’s a family run place.

The servers were very kind and sweet

Con: We had to wait for an hour to get seated. (This restaurant is located where there aren’t many things to do around while you’re waiting.) They don’t accept online/phone reservations.

I won’t go to this place again, because I don’t think authentic Italian food fits my taste palette. But a good place to try authentic Italian cuisine....
