It wasn't even time for a meal.
I was driving through Dorchester, pulled up to a stop sign, and saw the sign: La Esquina ("The Corner") Restaurant.
I had never even heard of a Dominican sandwich before. And here, right in front if me, practically in my lap, are best Domimican sandwiches. The sign says so.
So of course you know what happens next:

It is awesome.
Shaped like sub roll, but crispy outside and soft inside, choice of meat ( I didn't see any vegetarian options), and heaped with a million toppings (veggies, sauce, other stuff, I don't even know what was on it). I think it was pressed like a panini but I'm not sure.
Best sandwich I've had in a long time.
As a bonus, they're open until 1:00 AM every day.

The dog was good but it wasn't $15 good. I've tasted better hot dogs at a street vender for way less... the quality of the ingredients wasn't the best either. Basically nothing special but the size.
There was two basically two hot dog sausage put on a long sub, topped with cabbages, with liquid cheese and small amount of ground beef.
I was a little disappointed spending $30 on something so simple... I could've gotten better tasting high quality meals at...

I ordered a beef chimi and the meat was nearly burnt rubber, the chefs were talking and being distracted messed up my sandwich, let alone put yellow american cheese on a chimi.
Never coming here again completely disgusted with the quality. The women upfront were polite and i wholeheartedly respect that and their service.
