Lori's Deli & Espresso — Restaurant in Bothell

"Good sandwiches made speedily, preceded by friendly customer service." I was intending to get lunch at Lori's Deli, but was lured over to the food trucks on North Creek Parkway. I walk up to one and the big serving counter/windows were closed up, and no one came out to say hello, or to say, "We open at such and such time, if you want to come back...". It was before 11:30am, so I had to assume they didn't open yet. I walked over to the next one, and there was only one other customer standing near me, looking at their phone. I looked up at the service area and saw a scrolling LED sign that indicated a wait time of 10-15 minutes. Wow. Where were all the customers? Sorry, but I like engagement with people, and if I'm going to pay $10 or more, you need to include some customer service. I returned to my original intention and walked back across the street and through the little business park, ending up at Lori's Deli. I walked in and was immediately greeted with smiling faces and explanation of what today's specials were. No sooner than I received my change, my sandwich was ready! When I got back to my desk, I was very pleased, seeing how many veggies they added to the sandwich. ...

A customer at work offered to buy lunch. And we went in to look at the sandwiches at first I thought they were kind of pricey and realize that it was for a meal I ordered a make your own and got the pastrami with everything except for tomatoes and man was I surprised it was super good half the sandwich build me up and then I was able to eat half the up the sandwich later!!! And got macaroni salad and a drink in the meal macaroni salad portion could have been a little bigger but it's still great tasting. The customer service was great as well quick...

Stopped by today to order. When I placed the order I tried paying with my Discover card and he said said that they don’t take it so I said that’s fine, that’s the only card I had and that I’ll just leave. He got upset that I didn’t have another card or cash on me and that they had already started making the food (I had just placed the order). Just really rude about the...
