This place was a great find and we weren't even really looking. My wife and I met up to grab lunch and we ended up in the complex where this is located. She wasn't in the food for soup at Safeway or a sandwich from Jersey Mike's so we wandered in here. The place look clean and and ambiance was nice but the winning moment for me was when I saw what some of the other patrons were eating and was instantly impressed. The Chicken Katsu was so big I decided on the spot that I was ordering that, It also came with a bunch of Tempura shrimp, which was pretty awesome. The other thing I liked was that my meal came with cole slaw rather than the standard iceberg lettuce salad with the same salad dressing that they serve at every other teriyaki joint int he world. I think that cole slaw is a much better compliment to this kind of food and it tasted great. My wife ordered beef teriyaki with a shrimp skewer and hers also tasted great. the Katsu was prepared perfectly which is always a treat since many places overcook it and dry it out. The service was friendly and helpful and the meal came with complimentary soup. The only negative point was when I found lipstick on my soup mug and it was fresh enough that it wiped off on my napkin. I can let that go though as a one-off problem. I'll definitely be...
Read moreTheir General Tsao's Chicken is like their orange chicken without orange. I actually ordered it a second time thinking they must have made a mistake before but nope, they just don't know what General Tao's is supposed to taste like. I understand that it's not a traditional dish or something, but could you at least use the right ingredients? It was just chicken in some strange orange marinade with little flavor. Not sweet, sesame or gingery and it came with with no vegetables. When I called today and found they didn't have vegetable gyoza or vege springrolls I figured I'd write this review. Strange that they can't make a vege springroll or vegetable gyoza. They must also not be able to make meat ones either leading me to believe they get them frozen. If I wanted frozen food, I would make it myself and not pay real food prices. For being in such a prime location I wish they were better. I am sick of eating taco bell but seriously, Bothell has the worse food. Don't even think about taking dates here. I've lived here all my life and all the good places closed down years ago....
Read moreMaybe I caught them on a bad day. Chicken for pho and ramen is simple boiled and sliced chicken, no flavor. Chicken yakisoba was very bland, little to no flavor on the chicken itself. Ramen broth was spicy, but still very good, lots of veggies mixed in. Overall, I probably won't come back because there are so many places like this that do great food. I guess in this area there are not as many options. Bonus for cleanliness, this place cares about being clean, especially in the days of COVID.
This is decent food, but it's definitely not memorable.
If you are the owner, just a little seasoning and focusing on freshly made items will make a huge difference. I see your doordash is doing well also, so that is good. Keep in mind we came at 6:30 Friday night - you only had one other table busy. Bring the food up a notch and people will come back, you're one of the few restaurants with panasian cuisine for...
