We’ve ordered food from here multiple times and every time it’s not good. We ordered take out and picked it up and ate it about 3 minutes after the pick up time. The food was bland and cold even though we picked it up just 3 minutes before. We decided to give them another chance and again, bad food. Taking in account how they reply to these negative reviews…. yikes. Not helpful in the slightest and VERY defensive. Have better food and service and you might not get horrible reviews. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with working tastebuds. Even if you can’t taste, you’ll surely be disappointed with the price.
Update 10/19/2021 We decided to try and give this place a shot in person. The waitstaff were two girls and they were nice enough. What got us THIS time is that after I ate, I needed a togo box. I put the Pesto Risotto in my box and found a 2 cm hair that didn’t belong to either of us. I notified the waitress and she took the bowl to who I assumed was her boss. She came back and apologized but stated “it was an eyelash hair not a head hair” Which it definitely was not, so they didn’t even try to comp us any of the meal and excused a hair. We promptly left without the leftovers and I just don’t understand how a business could simply write off something that would have been comped anywhere else. We didn’t ask for it to be comped because that shouldn’t be the customers job. Horrible...
Read moreI just moved to APEX5510 complex in Gunbarrel. How lucky am I that this fabulous restaurant is IN the complex (open to the public). AND it's steps from the bottom of my stairs (I picked the right building to move into - Apertivo on the right at the bottom of the steps and the fitness center just to the left!
What a pleasant surprise. I had a DELICIOUS tuna salad with a wonderfully flavored balsamic dressing. The greens were fresh and yummy and the tuna was not drenched in mayo as many are. The dressing was so delicate but flavorful. Also some yummy sour dough toasted bread with just the right amount of butter. AND one of the best tasting hot chai teas in Boulder.
My friend had a bowl of chicken noodle soup that she raved about during the meal. We met an adorable little dog (yorkie/toy poodle with the best, most expressive ears! and so friendly) named TOUGH (or Tuff didn't ask the spelling) and the weather was good and the light was awesome and the ambiance was excellent.
Our waiter Troy was very friendly and informative and helpful. This place serves breakfast lunch and dinner (open till 9 except on m/t in the winter - closing after lunch).
Outdoor patio seating is also available. The complex is awesome and the restaurant is the cherry on top of the whipped cream!
Will be back -...
Read moreThis restaurant definitely has potential, but unfortunately, our Valentine's Day experience fell short of our expectations. The holiday menu featured two courses, and neither of them lived up to the rave reviews we had read beforehand. To make matters worse, the staff appeared overwhelmed and inattentive throughout our meal.
We didn't receive a water refill or an opportunity to order a second drink. After ordering the entire meal at the beginning, we had little interaction with our server until it was time to pay the check. The dishes were delivered by the kitchen staff, which made it difficult to request anything, including water refills or additional drinks.
To add insult to injury, our table faced a large window, which offered a view of several pets doing their business throughout the evening. While we love our furry friends, it would have been nice if the restaurant had provided a thoughtful curtain - as with the other windows.
One thing to note is that parking can be challenging in the area, as the restaurant is located within an fairly dense apartment complex. Be sure to avoid parking in permit-only areas to avoid any headaches.
Overall, while our experience was disappointing, we'll consider giving this restaurant another chance in the future as our experience was likely - hopefully...
