We used to come here all the time. The management is terrible. It also changes like the seasons. Overall this restaurant is not well managed and never has been.
Although there are some servers we like, there appears to be a couple of really bad apples and there is a lot of turnover. The ones who are great haven't been there the last two times so who knows, maybe they left.
We had a really bad server today who was running around chaotic, while helping other patrons, clearly having a very bad day. By the time she came to take our order, she got it completely wrong. That part we understand. What we don't understand is why she lied to us and why she huffed off while we were discussing what we needed.
What happened after that, with the blonde manager, was completely unacceptable. We won't even go into it because it was that bad.

Read moreWe loved our experience at Lucky’s Bakehouse Café—so much so that we came back three times during our week in Boulder! No other breakfast spot even came close. The food is absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and made with such obvious care. Whether it was pastries, breakfast plates, or their daily specials, everything we tried was top-notch. What truly made the experience even better was the impeccable service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. It felt like a place where people love what they do—and it shows.
A special shoutout to Riley, our server on our last day, who recommended the peach bread of the day—a perfect seasonal treat that was as delicious as it was memorable. Thank you, Riley, for ending our trip on such a high note!

Read moreFood was good but the service was terrible. They have an optional vegan tofu scramble that comes with bread. I was first told the bread was not vegan so we asked to have a tortilla instead. Then the food comes with the bread on my plate by the manager I'm assuming, and I explain that we were waiting for the tortilla cause of the vegan issue. She comes back with the tortilla and explains the bread was vegan but she'll give me the tortilla anyway in a guilt trip type of way. I then notice that there is butter on the bread. I told the waitor that I still couldn't eat it because butters not vegan. He just stood there and didn't even apologize. What if I accidentally ate that? What a careless kitchen. They knew I wanted it vegan I must have said the word vegan like 5 times...
