I wish, I wish, I WISH I could post the recording of what happened on 7/20/23. I placed an online order, paid online, and went in to pick up my pizza. The employee who handed me my pizzas disclosed it was his first day. He asked if I wanted to pay cash or card. I informed him that I paid online and showed him confirmation of my purchase. He handed me my 2 pizza boxes and I asked him if I could purchase a 2 liter diet Pepsi. I asked if I could pay via Apple Pay for my soda purchase and he said yes. I could tell he was nervous as he was shaking and it took him awhile. I told him I would pay card if it made it easier for him. He stated that it was "taken care of" already, which I assumed that he just added it to the same card I used for my online order (since he pulled up my information when I provided the order name). I get home and 5 minutes after I walk through the door, a female employee is calling me to come back and pay. I explained to her that I paid online for my pizzas already, but if the soda charge didn't go through, I was more than willing to go back and pay. She argued with me for 15 minutes, explaining to me that they voided out the purchase by accident and that I needed to come back and pay. I informed her that my bank account still reflected a charge and I did not want to pay twice. I told her I was willing to wait 1 week until the funds were reimbursed or that the charge fell off, in which I would then go in-store and pay. She kept trying to tell me that due to employee or system error, they voided the charge and I needed drive all the way back and pay the $24.83 charge or provide my card over the phone. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Why would I pay AGAIN when my account reflected that I was already charged? She was EXTREMELY aggressive and condescending. I wish I could post the audio recording! It blew my mind. She told me I wasn't welcome back, and believe me, I would NEVER return anyway based off how I was treated because YOUR employee made a mistake. I've told others not to eat here as well and I will continue to do so. I'm planning on posting the ordeal on social media as well....
Read moreWe have had horrible experiences here in the past with slow service and rude employees. But typically the pizza has been good and we’ve chalked it up to a stressful environment.
Now it makes sense why their employees are so stressed and pressured after my friend went to get us pizza and had a horrendous experience with management.
She did an online order and paid beforehand. She went and got the pizza but dealt with the typical slow service and a new employee. All was fine until she got home and management had the audacity to call and blame us for an employee error. The employee had accidentally voided our order and they called us to demand we drive back and immediately pay them back or have the police called on us. Again, no issue was raised at the restaurant nor did they give any indication until they called. They were extremely condescending and threatened to ban us from ever going back to the restaurant for their mistake.
This is probably the worst experience I’ve ever seen someone have with a restaurant. If a restaurant makes a mistake they cannot take it out on the customer especially with abusive treatment such as we received. My friend recorded the phone call as well. So don’t come to this review and try and deny it...
Read moreI ordered a simple pizza and cheesy bread at 3pm. I was supposed to get the order at 3:30, which sounded OK- I live maybe a mile and a half from their store. I called about ten minutes after my order was supposed to have arrived and was told the driver was on their way. About fifteen minutes later, still no order, I called back, and was told there had been one other order delivered before mine. Ok, but it still shouldn't have taken an additional fifteen minutes. The order finally showed up nearly an hour after I'd ordered, and almost 30 minutes after it was supposed to have been delivered.
I went to Marco's website to leave feedback, and whether I clicked on the Leave Feedback with receipt or without receipt, all it did was direct me to their ordering page.
The food was decent, but not amazing. Solely due to the very slow delivery (seriously, it took an hour for my order to go less than two miles on a random Wednesday afternoon) I won't be ordering...
