I’ve been to the other Thirst locations, and this is the worst one. I’ve been there twice, and both times I’ve been disappointed. This time, I ordered two Dr. Peppers (one Death Star, and one make your own), a BlueBell, and a small lemonade. After getting home (15 minutes away), I discovered that BOTH Dr. Peppers were Diet, even though the cup tags say regular. Diet Dr. Pepper is really disgusting. I won’t be drinking either of them.
Also, Thirst scams you with their cups. The order says 32 oz, but when transferred to another cup (that is 32 oz), it isn’t anywhere near the 32 oz line on the cup. The Thirst cup was completely full when transferred to the new cup. All other soda stores (Swig, Quench It, Fizz, Sodalicious) hit the 32 oz line with their drinks. Thirst gives you 30 oz of soda and calls it 32 oz. If you didn’t transfer it to a new cup, no one would even guess.
Also, they got rid of their combos, which is so disappointing. I went there the first time to get a combo to share with my toddler.
I won’t be returning to Thirst, and I won’t be recommending it to...
Read moreI wish I could offer a higher review! I'd been so looking forward to my first Thirst experience. Unfortunately it didn't measure up to expectations.
Upon arrival at the Bountiful location, there wasn't clear signage as to where to go for a first timer, and the building itself had the appearance of being closed.
The beignets were a bit tough & lacking in flavor. The pretzel bites were much the same. (How do pretzel bites go wrong?!)
The "Death Star" - Dr. Pepper with coconut & blackberry - was a refreshing drink! Quite sweet and flavorful.
The lack of customers prompted us to think service would be quick. This was not the case. We waited about 6-8 minutes behind one car, and our order itself (pretzel bites, beignets, one drink) took about another 5-6 minutes. Not sure of the "behind the scenes" processes, but the food was cold so warming things up likely wasn't the culprit for the delay. The person at the window was very...
Read moreThirst came highly recommended, as we're new to that part of Bountiful. Sat for a bit before the line moved (we were maybe 4th car in line). Once we did move the line cleared out all the way to the window, but no one was there? Sat at the window for another little bit and saw an employee outside getting the order of every car behind us in line but not ours? After about 5 min of sitting at the window and watching other employees walk around inside without addressing the window we decided to leave. Probably about 15-ish minutes total there, never talked to a single person, despite seeing 3 or 4 different employees. Gotta give the food and drink a 1, only because I haven't tried it. Service, see above, that's a 1. Atmosphere is pretty neat though, interesting little building that used to be...
