Went thru drive thru at 10:38pm today.Ordered 4 double stacks, lg fry & large soda.The reply after we placed order was "Don't have any large cups" we stated "okay then we'll take a medium". No responce.Sat there waiting 2 hear something, anything.No responce. So we pulled up 2 window, we were handed our food bag, not a word spoken. We gave him our debit card, again not a word spoken to us. Received our receipt & debit card back, not a word spoken.Window closed.Waiting 4 medium soda & a thank u for choosing wendys.Received neither.Looked at receipt.No soda billed on receipt. Pulled away & vowed 2 never return. Will never visit this Wendy's again due to the utmost rude & unfriendly services. Yes unfortunately the dollar double stacks has ended but we do have a 2 for $6 promo going for a limited time. Single cheese, spicy, home style or 3 pc tenders mix & match. Also, i'm sorry we were out of large cups due 2 an ordering mix up . But no excuses we should of taking care of you better & the manager on duty that day is no longer working for us bc of issues like this. I would like 2 replace ur 4 double stacks & large drinks.Just come on in & let them know i'll be buying ur food. Once again I am very sorry & hope u will give us another chance. Out this way again today to shovel out my elderly parents driveway & take mom to get groceries.We decided to try it again. We went thru the drive thru & repeated our same order and told the drive thru we had an email from Donna the Gm stating this meal was on her due to previous issue. The drive thru person said we don't have a Donna GM. We said okay we will show you the email when we get to the window. We showed a male named Dylan who read the email & said we don't have a Donna as GM. We were embarrassed, informed him we would be replying to Donna in an emal about this.We then paid 4 our food. Received our food & again didn't receive our beverage & had to ask for it. While eating our food in Wendy's parking lot my mom texted asking if we would pick up a Wendys baked potato.So I went inside to order the baked potato.While in line I heard the male (Dylan) who gave us our food in the drive thru talking loudly about us to another employee at the other side of the cooking area saying "after they said we got an email from Donna the GM they showed me the email, it didn't have the Wendy's heading or anything on it" & they all laughed.I stepped out of line & went over by the food pick up counter closest to Dylan & told him "it is not a fake email, we received it from Donna the GM in April" Dylan said "there is no GM named Donna, I've been the GM for 7 years" he then waved his arm & gestured for me to get out. I told him how unprofessional they are talking badly & loudly about customers behind the service counter. He said "I was informing my superior what happened" I then asked the name of his superior he was talking so loudly to across the entire cooking area & she told me her name was Romie. So is Romnie the cheif executive officer preparing baked potatoes in the cooking area? If Dylan and Romie think customers write up fake emails 2 get free food maybe they should take into consideration that if someone goes to such lengths they would probably say they were owed the most expensive items on the menu rather than the cheapest. The fact that $12 would cause Dylan the so called GM & his superior Romie to treat a customer so poorly is shocking. Read moreI went to the wendy's on William Latham drive in Bourbonnais and was very disappointed with the service. I arrived at 4:18 pm with two cars ahead of me in the drive through and did not receive my order until 4:30 pm. To make things worse the car ahead of me was told to wait until placing order and two minutes later they were allowed to place their order. I then pulled up and was also asked to please wait and it was also two minutes before someone came on the speaker stating I could now place my order. When I got to the window I asked for the manager and his name was Kenny. I explained their was two cars ahead of me and it took 12 minutes before I received my order. Kenny in my opinion was rude and stated I doubt it took that long what do you want a refund. I told Kenny that I did not want a refund but was only telling him of their poor service. I also told Kenny that my sister was the HR director and I was going to inform her of my service. It is a shame because once at the drive through window I noticed there was NO one at the inside counter so I could not justify it by being busy. Read moreWe went here Saturday. I had heard they had new help and the place was turning around. The wait was long but we were patient. The drive thru was extremely busy. Not many people inside. The back of the house had 4 people working which is the most I've seen around there. The main lady is stressed out. She's running back and forth. I understand she's only one person they need a few more helpers. Food was ok. Burger was really dry. Chicken and ffs were good. My only complaint is when we sat down to eat all we heard was the back of the house complaining. It's very unprofessional. We understand times are hard and You're only one person. If you don't like your job find another one. We didn't feel comfortable eating here we felt like we were imposing. I don't think we will be back. At least until they can get more employees. I feel like a lot of fast food chains are drowning right now and Wendy's has joined the list. Good...
