El Mazatlan Bar & Grill #5 — Restaurant in Bowling Green

My wife and I ordered food tonight. My wife got the rib eyed fajita $25 plate that comes with two sides. She wanted cooked onions and brussel sprouts as her sides. They bring her plate (main dish) but no sides.

We waved down the server, and when we told him her dish was incomplete, and she didn't get any of her sides that come with the meal, and she wanted onions and brussel sprouts, he apparently had no idea what brussel sprouts were because they made the cooked onions/peppers but still no brussel sprouts.

We went to pay and found out that they had charged us for the sides that were supposed to come with the meal in the first place!

The tulum special I had was okay except for two pieces of shrimp that tasted as if they had been soaking in pond water. Also it gave me an upset stomach.

I do not recommend this particular El Mazatlan. I've been to quite a few and never had an experience like tonight. I definitely will not...

Pretty cool restaurant with huge variety of classic, traditional mexican and spanish stuff. You may get there quesadillas, tapas and tortillas, as well as awesome shrimps, beef or chicken with fries or rice and a salad. Very tasty at a reasonable price. Very very recommended! 🥩🍤🍗🌮🌶🌶🌶 Was there once again today and had some very good Chicken Fajitas fried with bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. In addition one gets a plate of rice, bean guacamole with cream and 3 pieces of tasty flour tortillas. Really delicious stuff! 😋 💯👌🏻 Also very friendly waitresses with nice service and always willing to help and meet customers expectations or specific needs regarding food. Very much recommended...

Don't order pickup from this location. This is the second time I have ordered online and had problems. 1st time I arrived to pickup and had to wait with 3 kids in the lobby for 15 minutes. Tonight I arrived half an hour after the allotted pickup time. It's Friday. Knew it would be busy. The guy at the desk taking a cell call when I walked up. I waited patiently. He then picked up the store phone and seriously took 3 calls/orders while I stood there. Some poor waitress walked up and helped people with their pickup order behind me! If you're gonna eat here the food is great and the service for dine in has always been great. Just don't order...
