Up to this point, I have had decent service at this location. Today I went by around 9:10am and ordered a #11 (labeled on the sign as a breakfast burrito) with steak. I drove up to the window, paid, and confirmed with the girl that it was suppose to be steak she was like "oh, I heard bacon, sorry about that". Didn't offer to change it or fix it, just matter of factly confirmed the miscommunication. Ok, whatever, no big...it's all meat anyway. Ended up somehow getting a crunchwrap with bacon.... I backed up to the window because no one was in line and asked the women about it, to which she said that a #11 is a crunchwrap. I was like, "Ok, that's fine, I must have read the sign wrong no big deal". So at this point, I've brushed off both things, kinda been a "whatever" kind of morning. I drove back around the drive through just to make sure I wasn't crazy and to see if I had really read the sign wrong...I hadn't. #10 is a type of burrito, #11 is a different type of burrito, #12 is crunchwrap. I just confirmed with the woman over the speaker that their sign is incorrect.
At this point, I basically have a bag of stuff I didn't order at all, pointed it out, and noone cared to try and fix it. So I start to drive off, while shrugging off the whole thing and I think to myself, "Ya know, this isn't even remotely close...I feel like maybe someone needs to say something?" So now I park and walk up to the door, which is locked? Walked over to the other door...it is also locked. Called the store on the phone, no answer....well, I tried. So then I left.
The reason I gave this a 2 rather than a 1 is because the woman at the window psuedo-entertained me, unprompted, with a story about her alcoholic uncle who apparently drinks his coffee the same way I do. Perhaps this should have taken stars away...but since I can't go below a 1, I'll just send it the other direction and appreciate the fact that perhaps she needed someone to listen.
In summary, I clearly ordered something that was pretty simple, got something back that wasn't remotely close to what I ordered, no one cared about the difference, couldn't talk to anyone at the store other than the woman at the window, and got regaled with a impromptu narrative about how in another life I could have ended up as an alcoholic based upon my coffee...
Read moreI placed an order for pickup at this taco bell through the app. Upon arriving at the store, after having waited 20 minutes at the drive through, I was informed that they gave my order to the car in front of me in line.
What I don't understand is, they said the customer in front of me mentioned he was missing a spicy potato taco from his order, an item that is on the dollar menu for $1.29. For some reason, they gave this customer my entire $20 dollar order. They said that he claimed to use my name to pick up the order, but I have a relatively uncommon name and think that both of these were excuses to cover the employees own mistakes and avoid responsibility for giving the order to the wrong person.
They refused to make my order again for me and essentially stole $20 from me. They informed me that it is MY responsibility to get a refund through the app, cause there was nothing they could do to remedy the situation.
Maybe I'm crazy, but that $20 food order probably only used $2 of ingredients to make. It should not be on the customer to solve a businesses mistake. They should take the loss and satisfy the customer every time. I work night shifts and now I have nothing to eat for dinner and $20 less in my bank account. Pissed me off.
Thanks for stealing from me taco bell. I'd give zero stars if it were an option. I've had nothing but bad experiences at this particular location in the past, but nothing as...
Read moreNever place an order through the TACO BELL APP! I placed an order through the app on 2/27, my husband arrived to pick up our already ACCEPTED order and was informed they couldnât make our food because fryers were down. He asked for them to solve the problem by either giving a refund, give coupons, or exchange the food for something of equal value that didnât involve a fryer. They refused. They said heâd have to cancel the order through the app which we couldnât do because they accepted the order. He asked if he could pick the order up next day once fryers we fixed and the manager again refused. I called today 2/28 to try to solve the issue again and was told they wouldnât do anything, and quote âif you want the food youâll have to pay for it again,â this by âSammyâ the manager. He preceded to argue with me and hung up on me 3-4 times before I finally decided to try the 800 number for customer service - which by the way is not a number meant for customers but rather employees. I finally got through to someone who gave me another 800 number meant for customers. Iâm still waiting to get a refund other wise I will be suing since I was charged for food I was never given. Never again will I spend my money here. The managers - all of them including the GM, Assistant, and Manager, need...
