The food here is GOOD. This is authentic and not watered down like most of the "Mexican" restaurants here in Bowling Green. The meat has been seasoned to within an inch of it's life, and it's SO good. The owners are very nice, and they make EVERYTHING fresh, which you can taste. I had the street tacos, one chorizo and two steak with the salsa Verde, the spicy salsa and a side of guacamole. My husband had the steak burito suizo, and it. Was. Huge. We also had chips and salsa for me and chips and quaso for him. The chips are really good. They are light and crispy. I actually went back for more of the salsa and chips to take home for later. I added an extra salsa Verde and a spicy salsa as well. I'm very picky about salsa, and 2 Amigo's passed my taste test. The seating was a bit uncomfortable, but we went there for the food, not the atmosphere. I completely recommend this place if you want authentic tasting food. After recently moving here from Dallas, I have been on the lookout for good mexican food! I have tried different establishments and local cuisines only to find them subpar! After trying 2 Amigos Kitchen, I am happy to say I have found a keeper! From the moment you walk in, they make you feel hungry and invited! The smells coming from the grill are delectable and the food compliments the service! The staff is friendly, and the place is spotless! I tried the 3 enchilada rojas, and my fiance had the steak chalupa! We barely had anything left to take home! Next time I am going to try their street tacos! I wanted some authentic Mexican the other day and discovered this little gem. I got the steak Burrito Suiza and some guac with chips.
Pros: I liked the atmosphere. It's the type of place you walk into and you know the food is about to be good. The people were friendly. The food tasted very fresh and was obviously made with love. The steak was good quality and the guac was bursting with flavor. The hot hot sauce wasn't insane with the heat and had a really good flavor.
Cons It was kind of hot inside but that kind of goes along with Pro #1.
