We stumbled upon Alfa Pizzeria not expecting much, but we were completely blown away by the experience—especially the gluten-free pizza. It was, without a doubt, one of the best gluten-free pizzas we’ve ever had. The crust was crisp yet chewy, flavorful, and didn’t feel like a compromise. We ordered the gluten-free feta cheese pizza, and not only was it beautifully presented, but it also came in a surprisingly generous size. Every bite was a perfect blend of creamy feta, and authentic Italian flavor.
The pizza is cooked in a traditional Italian oven, giving it that irresistible, slightly charred crust and rustic charm. We also tried the grilled chicken breast with lemon, which was incredibly tender and seasoned just right. It paired perfectly with the pizza and added a nice balance to the meal.
The service at Alfa Pizzeria was warm and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively. It’s a place we’d gladly return to, and not just for the gluten-free options. Alfa has mastered authenticity, flavor, and hospitality. Highly...
Read moreI ordered pizza & gave them 3 chances. 1st .time hardly any cheese on it, 2nd.time the Sicilian was more bread than cheese. 3rd time I ordered a meat lovers & hardly anything on it, as well. $28 with tip. When I don't get full from a large pizza, something is wrong. No more Alfa for me. They charge you for using a debit card. These Albanian brothers need to go back to pizza school. Worst pizza I had in a long time. The 1 brother comes out & says, everything good? He knows what he's doing. Scimping on the toppings. No value for your $ here. Quite expensive for what you get. Someone I know said they paid $3.50 for a can of soda? If I'm starving, I won't go back there. Their pizza is just plain bad. I don't know how they stay in business? Something is wrong, when u pick up a slice of pizza & you have to put it down & eat it with a fork, because you feel like it's gonna slide off the crust! Strange? Do yourself a favor & don't waste your time here. They need to get it right,...
Read moreI tried 'Alfa Pizzeria' based on so many wonderful 4 and 5 star reviews. I ordered a large cheese pizza, half pepperoni for pick up. I ordered over the phone, they said 15-20 minutes, it was 35 minutes so I waited 20 minutes at the restaurant since they hadn't even put my pie in the oven by the time I got there and it was NOT very busy. The pie was mediocre at best and I'm being nice by giving them 2 stars. Dough: D+ Sauce: D Cheese: C+ Overall 'Alfa Pizzeria' is firmly in the middle of the pack when it comes to local pizza and not going anywhere soon. Not the worst but far from the best. Which brings me to the question: I wonder how much Alfa has been paying for these phony reviews? I will stay with my go to pizza places for the most part: Boynton Pizza and Porta Bello in Boynton and Sazio Express in Delray though I'm always open to trying new pizza joints. Unfortunately 'Alfa Pizzeria' failed the test and I will not...
