I tried this place for the first time this week after much anticipation from following them on Instagram. I was super excited to support a small business and try their valentine's seasonal drink. To start the place barely fit the 5 customers that were there, the cashier and the batista were not friendly and did not seem to be happy to assist customers. In fact, the customer who came after me waited 10 minutes to order. I ordered the seasonal Rosé iced Latte, which was ok, but not much rose flavor. Then I asked if I could order the iced matcha but have them blend it. The cashier looked confused, so I advised her they serve smoothies, so could you put the matcha in the blender with the ice and milk and just make it that way. She said hold on, asked the batista who turned looked at me with a nasty face when she asked her and said no to the cashier. The cashier came back and said, "we're not allowed to". It's fine if you can't but the way the staff acted was enough of a turn off for me to know I didn't like this place because the staff was just not friendly. Also, it's a common ask and way to make this matcha drink, so to look at me with disgust was startling. I ordered a blended smoothie on their menu instead since that's all they're allowed to blend apparently. It was okay, but way over priced for what it was.

I tried reaching out to the Instagram account privately via direct message to provide my feedback about only the matcha and in a comment under one of their old posts. They didn't respond and deleted my comment, which only asked them nicely to please consider offering the matcha blended as an option. Shows the same attitude and approach to customers online as I received in person by this coffee house and chain. We won't be going back, not recommending it to anyone after seeing how they handle customers and feedback. Thus why I decided to give my full experience with the store. There are plenty other small business coffee shops in the area I'll be giving our...

I hope my review is helpful for those traveling to visit this location. We drove 1 hr 15 min to this spot and there was not any visible restroom. When I asked if they have a restroom, the young lady pointed across the way to a restaurant in the vicinity, and told me that I could go there. I feel like that is quite unethical because I am supporting this restaurant not that restaurant, and to expect them to let me use their bathroom I feel is a stretch. I think the food here is excellent and the Matcha was fantastic, but if you are expecting to be able to sit down here, there is no indoor seating except for a small bar with 2 barstools. I was under the impression that I would be able to sit down inside, but we were not able to. We had to sit outside. When I ordered my drinks and pastries, I was told that they would be bringing them out to me. We waited for several minutes eating the salad that we got from the cold refrigerator. I decided to go back inside to see if possibly they may have forgotten about us, and yes they did. Everything was done, just sitting on the end of the bar for who knows how long before I discovered it. Whoever was serving us told us the wrong thing, giving us the expectation that they would be bringing the food out to us when that was really not the case at all. It would’ve been much better if they could’ve told us that our food would be waiting at the end of the bar. Then we would’ve known to come back in to look for it sooner.

Definitely if you are considering this restaurant to sit down and enjoy a sit down experience, I say think again. If you would like to pick something up and take it to the beach, or come here after the beach for a smoothie or matcha, that would be more fitting. The service is not what I was expecting at all. If I re-visit, it will be a grab and go...

I have to agree with the reviews about service. I’ve been here twice. The first visit I would’ve rated it 3.5-4 stars - the food was pretty good (though it isn’t fresh, it’s heated up) and the atmosphere was cute. An entire point was removed for the attitudes of the staff.

Maybe it’s cheaper to hire high school / college kids but they need some serious training on customer service. The first time I visited, I felt like I was just generally unwelcome. I shrugged it off because I enjoyed my meal.

Today I went to pick up some food. The staff were all talking so the girl at the front had her back to me. When I walked in, she looked almost annoyed that I was there 😂 She handed me my food and I left. My bacon egg and cheese was burnt. The croissant was hard and the cheese was rock solid stuck to the inside of the croissant. My cinnamon roll was hard. This food is PREMADE. There is no reason there should be any variation in how it’s heated up. Burning the food should be impossible
but they found a way. I requested napkins in my online order and they placed 2 single napkins in my bag for a 3 food item order. Honestly, you’re better off...

I was driving from Wellington to the Schoolhouse Museum, so I decided to stop here for coffee. I was looking forward because I have been following the page on instagram for a long time. I thought it could be a cute hipster place to eat with my boys. I ordered iced mocha and a cake pop. Total was $10.81. Iced mocha tasted like nesquik; I couldn’t taste any coffee at all. Even my 2 year old had some and still went for nap so I’m not sure if it even had coffee. Cake pop was ok; the inside was not very sweet. There was no ambience at all; it seems like a commissary kitchen rather than a coffee shop. There are no tables inside-it’s standing room only. I guess with other coffee places like Cali or 7Brew I know upfront that there isn’t going to be any seating, so then I don’t have the expectation of relaxing in a coffee shop. Their prices are lower too. But if I’m paying $11, then I expect a nicer place. The only thing I really liked was the nice girls working; they were pleasant. But mostly a disappointing experience. Not at all like Seed in Boca which is a whole experience of nice music, people watching, and relaxing.

We stopped by The Seed Coffee & Juice Bar for a quick pick-me-up and were pleasantly surprised by how refreshing and inviting the experience was. The highlight of our visit was the cold strawberry matcha tea made with almond milk—an unexpectedly perfect combination of creamy, earthy matcha with a light strawberry sweetness that made it feel like summer in a cup. It was smooth, vibrant, and just the right amount of sweet without being overpowering. Jonathan, who prepared our drinks, was exceptionally hospitable. He greeted us with genuine warmth and made us feel right at home. His passion for what he does clearly shows—he truly makes the best matcha we’ve had in a long time. You can tell he puts care into every drink, and it makes all the difference. The atmosphere of The Seed is relaxed and uplifting, with a clean, minimalist design and plenty of natural light. Whether you’re passing through or looking for a local favorite to return to, this spot is worth it for both the drinks and the service. We’ll definitely be back again to try more of their menu, but that strawberry matcha might just become our go-to order.
