The food was pretty standard. Nothing really wowed me, but nothing was bad. Some of the food is great for the price, and other items are underwhelming. Tonight, I tried the small white pizza, small Mac and cheese, and a chicken bacon wrap with some hand cut fries as the side.

The Mac and cheese was surprisingly very good. They call it the wolds best, which is definitely a stretch, but it's still a solid Mac that hits the spot. This dish is heavy on what seems to be gouda as the main cheese. Interesting and unique flavor, very creamy, rich, and I love the bread crumb top. The price (under $6) is amazing for the portion. A small is more enough for a meal in my opinion. Overall, great deal and pretty tasty. 3.8/5

The white pizza was quite mediocre in my opinion. They do not make thin crust pies. The regular pizza crust is too thick. They do use a fair amount of ricotta, which adds a nice texture and flavor. But, there isn't much flavor to this pizza, and there is a weird sweetness to it. There are barely any tomatoes (it's like they couldn't decide if they want their white pie to have tomatoes or not, so they just add 3 tiny pieces). Price is alright for the size. Overall underwhelming. 2.4/5

Finally, the wrap. It was decently flavorful and had plenty of ranch, lettuce, and more. Good amount of chicken too, but bacon was too fried (tasted almost burnt) and not very good. The fries were quite delicious, hence why I could barely get a photo. Salty, still crunchy, and just tasty. Solid 3/5.

All in all, Dad's is pretty decent for a bar. Middle of the road in terms of flavor quality, but great Mac n cheese if you like Gouda. The pizza wasn't that great, but nothing I had was bad, especially...

I was excited to visit Dad's and support a new local business near my job. I work less than a mile away with individuals who enjoy and deserve a relaxing happy hour. I was dining with a group of 8. We initially started as a group of 5 with 3 additional guests joining. Our group placed orders for appetizers and drinks (it was happy hour amd a little after 4) . As soon as our food arrived not only were we rushed by staff to turn our table over, the staff actually made us push our tables together so they take 1 of the tables to seat more people. The food was good and there was a drink for everyone to enjoy but the lack of courtesy will stop me from ever visiting again. My bill alone was close to $25 before the tip without having purchased food and my visit lasted less than 2 hours due to literally being rushed out the door. I hope the patron the staff was so eager to replace me with was worth it. Typically, I will give a new business a second chance after an unsavory visit. I do understand running a business is difficult and people do suffer from "bad days", however I will not be giving Dad's a second chance. My negative experience wasn't due to "new business kinks" but downright poor customer service. The location of my school employs over 250 adults and I will be sure to let them know that if they want to be treated with courtesy and respect by a welcoming staff that Dad's is not the place for them. Thank goodness for Pepper's N At and Steel Towne Inn, they have never treated us as an inconvenience and have always been welcoming and...

The food and service were awesome. Jamie was our server who was awesome. We tipped her very well for how well she took care of us. The only bad note i will say is. I watched, i surmised, the bald mgr, touched a female worker inappropriately several times during our visits. He kept rubbing her arms and her backand invading her personal space. When he turned to walk away from her, i saw the look of disgust on her face. She was not confortable at all with what this dude to her repeatedly. I couldn't believe he did this to her several times. The dude was a genuine creeper. I forgot to mention this was at the Braddock location. If i were she, i would file a report with the PA Dept of Labor and Industry which she can do with her local state representative and quit her job. This dude didn't care there were children watching this in the Main dining room. We will no be returning to this location because there is someone in authority who thinks he has the right to trewat his employess like this. The only reasonbbni gave this place all the stars i did was the food was very good and Jamie was a great server. I hope the woman(victom) follows my suggestions and files the compaints amd quits. So, if you are looking for a family place to go, you may want to stay away from the Braddock location, at least, and go to another place where your family wont be subjected to inappropriate behavior like this. I feel so bad for the woman came for a job and received sexual harrasement as an unwritten part of the job...

This was my first visit to Dad's and we had planned to eat in but unforseen events shifted to a take out. We ordered the Big E and Mushroom Swiss burgers along with the hot dog and fries from the kids menu. I ordered our grandson a Sierra Mist with his kids meal as he specifically asked for this. I tipped the server well who took our take out order up front (probably a mistake in retrospect). I waited a reasonable amount of time and she delivered the take out order to me. It was raining and foggy, so I head home and once home realized she forgot to give me the drink. Being 10 minutes away and raining, I wasn't going back for the drink. The burgers and fries were very good and well worth the price paid. The restaurant looked nice and they have a nice bar area. I don't often get food to go for a variety of reasons, and tonight reminded me why. I feel I paid for something I didn't receive, disappointed a 3 year old, and over tipped for the service I ended up receiving.

I finally got to visit Dad's after months of riding past it & I should've gone here waaaayyyy sooner. Nice, homey atmosphere, even with the COVID restrictions. Very friendly staff & very clean restrooms! (Yes, clean restrooms matter!) Finally, the menu had soo many tasty options that I'll have to go back. My Greuben with the beer battered fries though?!?!? 🤤😋🤤😋 Yuummmm! Sorry this is long, but not sorry.
