I took a tour today with my family and it was absolutely amazing! We weren’t sure what to expect fully before coming in but it exceeded all of our expectations! There were oddities from floor to ceiling in each touring area of this beautiful home. The guide (owner of the home) was extremely lovely and was so knowledgeable about each item in her home. She was so bubbly and energetic and wanted us to have the best experience as possible. I will definitely plan on coming back!

We left a money donation but I wish we would have came with something weird or creepy ourselves. A lot of their items have been donated by them, some by tourists which always ads to the fun!

Taking an Uber or driving would be the best option to get here. They have some serious hills that you have to concur if you decide to walk from the bus stop (very doable...

I left 2 voicemails in August and filled out the contact for on their website and never got a return call to schedule a tour. I wasn't sure if they were still in business and then noticed other reviewers leaving recent feedback, so I left a 1-star review based on my poor experience of no communication explaining the confusion in my first draft of this review. Then I gave one last attempt to make contact by sending a text message in September. I received a quick response and was able to schedule a tour. But after some more texts back and forth about my review and feedback regarding their website about my experience, the communication again went downhill and they cancelled my tour. It was unfortunate that this is how things progressed, so hopefully others will have better luck with the communication that was off from the...

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! I brought my daughter to Pittsburgh to visit a Mortuary Science School and she found this place online and asked if we could go. This was right up her alley! We had the best time and Velda was one of the most interesting and nicest people we've ever met. My daughter hasn't stopped talking about her since we left.

We hope to come back and bring the rest of our family. Our description of the things we saw will never do it justice. This puts any of the Ripley's experiences we've seen to shame.

I can't believe that anybody who has been here could leave anything less than a 5 star review! They run on donations but could easily charge a set cost for this experience as it's...

This place is exceptionally unique, macabre, and fantastic! Very engaging and informational private tour by the lovely lady of the house who shared their eclectic, albeit morbid, collection of odds and ends including medical instruments, dressed up taxidermied animals, fun creations, artwork, creepy old toys, homemade machines, animal skeletons, and SO much more! It was absolutely fascinating and we will definitely be back with more friends to share the experience! It is free to tour the manor, but they gratefully accept monetary donations or weird, dead, or creepy things to add to their collection. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an hour of unusual fun with friends or for an unforgettable date night. :-D

All the answers to your questions. Street parking only. This is at someone's private home in a neighborhood. Appointments needed before arrival. Do not ring the doorbell before your exact appointment. The hostess gave us a tour of the first floor with many wonderful stories. This is someone's private collection. They allow as many photos as you want. Please donate money or a creepy or whimsical item. At the end of the tour there are a few items you could buy as souvenirs. This is a 30-minute tour.
