A waitress by the name Brianna Very short unfriendly and rude. I visit this Cracker Barrel at least 3 times a month and this is the first time I've had an experience that I could not brag about. I always ordered the same thing,Chicken and dumplings hold the chicken with 3 sides. I always get an extra order of dumplings, carrots and green beans, She made some comment about the only thing that she could do is give me a order of extra dumplings, which was fine with me. when my plate arrived I got a side order of carrots, aside order of green beans and 2 side orders of dumplings. And my husband ordered with his food a baked potato Which did not come out with his food and we had to ask another wsiter to please find our waitress so we could follow-up, by the time that the potato come he was done with his plate. She proceeded to take my plate away without asking whether I was done with it or not, The second time she tried to take my plate away I said to her I am not done with that thank you,, As we were speaking with the table beside us and they were having similar issues with her service. I chose not to speak out because I once also was in the service community however after I paid and when we were leaving I decided to see how much I was charged for 4 sides basically and realized that she had given us the wrong check, she had given us the table that had the 3 guests And we were a table of two, so I walked back in to ask for a refund and ran in to the other set of guest and joked with them about we got our bills switched by mistake, we walked up to the register which was quite busy so the gentleman just said let's Settle it amongst ourselves at which time we did. She seemed to have an attitude from the moment we sat down until the moment We left. I watched her throughout our short time and never have experienced such poor performance from a Cracker Barrel employee. There were a couple of other issues with her that I witnessed and was saddened that cracker barrels employees would treat They're guest as if they were a problem. she didn't seem to have too many tables, she didn't seem like she was overwhelmed with customers, she just seemed like everybody was a...
Read moreHave enjoyed many meals with lots of different friends at this Cracker Barrel over the years. We would plan shopping trips around a stop there — either for breakfast or a dinner. I love the exterior of this particular restaurant. The plantings are green and lush. It is pleasant to sit on the porch while waiting for a table.
Yesterday morning at just before 9:00 a.m. you were not busy. I was seated immediately. I was by myself. It was interesting to note how many single diners you were serving. I found my two eggs were smaller than in the past and had almost no yolks. The bacon was limp and lackluster.
The gift shop had changed, too. Could not find two items you always sell. The cashier looked and said they were sold out. I wanted to purchase an embroidered sweatshirt for a woman and the traditional triangular wood puzzle that we always play when waiting for our meals. What is happening? I will have to visit the one on Cortez to compare the two to see if my issues were just at this store.
My server Teresa was lovely. I hope I find the food better and the clothing that was a staple is in ample supply when/if I return. Meanwhile I cannot recommend my...
Read moreI had an infuriating experience at this Cracker Barrel and with its manager, Mark, and I feel compelled to share it.
I attempted to return a small item — with my receipt in hand — only to be told that their system “couldn’t process” the return due to technical limitations. First, it was because the item was purchased as part of a promotion. Then, it was because the item was not registered in the Cracker Barrel system.
The managers I spoke with were unapologetic, rude, and dismissive; I was just trying to find a small gift that the recipient did not already have. In 2025, this is frankly inexcusable. It’s hard to understand how a retail business can operate without the basic functionality to complete a return or even offer a simple exchange.
Rather than make any effort to resolve the situation or offer an alternative, the managers at this location made it clear that customer service was not their priority.
I understand that stores have policies, but there’s a difference between enforcing a policy and hiding behind broken infrastructure while treating paying customers with contempt. I won’t be returning, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before...
