KFC — Restaurant in Florida

It's a KFC. This one isn't too bad. I like the chicken, I was raised in a time when this was one of the only options for take out food. It's still good. The biscuts are better than the bread rolls they used to put in. The gravy for the biscuts is FIRE. The chicken tenders are actually not a bad option for kids, think a long chicken McNugget, except juicy and almost chicken like. This one has a Long John Silvers in it, but man, unless you like oil-filled breading, I'd steer clear of that option. Some of the items off that side are OK too, but the fish is to darn greasy for me. You want a nice piece of battered fried Cod (real Cod)? Go to Culver's if you can't find anything else local that is better. Order the 1, 2, or 3 peice Fish Dinner with a large coleslaw and two orders of fries. YOU will not be disappoint by it! Anyway, this is a KFC Review and I got off on the Fish.

So, it's KFC, a nice one. Somewhat clean, for a kitchen that basically swims in oil all day. So you need a KFC Fix? Say a Three Piece White meat Only Original Recipe? Or are you a Dark meat kinda dude, you just want 3 Drums? Just ask! Get yourself a nice drink to go with it, and you're set my friend.

Oh, you wanna talk about the Sandwich? It's pretty good. The Colonel knows how to cook a bird. I think it's better than Popeyes (they are going downhill fast) NOW, not when the Chicken sandwich game first started.

Word to the wise gentlemen - STOP downsizing things to keep the price low. We ALL notice that stuff. Stop it. Keep it full sized and raise the damn price. Everything else is going up... My wife and I had a long day and were not in the mood to cook anything so we decided on KFC so we placed our orders on our phones and the app said the food would be ready for pickup at 8:15 so we left and arrived at the drive thru where we were greeted and i responded that I’m here to pick up 2 mobile orders for my name and my wife’s name and we were told to pull around. I arrive to the window and I was given my drink but not my wife’s and that was told they were waiting on the food to be finished and I should pull into the parking lot by the doors. So we pulled up. I took a sip of my drink and it was regular tea not sweet tea so I was gonna just tell the person who brings our food out that it was the wrong drink but some time has gone by and it’s now 8:34 which is 19 minutes passed the time the app said it would be ready for pickup and the store wasn’t busy. I went inside with the drink and asked how long it would be till the food was ready and that this is not the right drink. Apparently the sweet tea was just regular tea that night which was watered down and bitter not sweet at all. The food was misplaced and the other associates said they gave the food out almost 20 minutes ago, come to find out it was sitting in the pickup section for DoorDash type drivers. So now we got the food in sealed bags and drive home to have a little late dinner which ended up being cold and soggy from condensation and the biscuits had no tops, they were messed up looking. The cool staff had an attitude and they were all young people so we thought if we would have asked for new food due to there error they might have spit in it or mess it up intentionally. If there was a negative star that’s what I would put. First of all we started ordering and then the last order we had was for Long Johns and they said it was closed. So yes disappointed but oh well. We ordered our food and very basic 3 tender meals and a chicken breast meal and 3 drinks. Clearly nothing complicated but I guess it was. We finally got up to the window after about 10 minutes and the lady opened the window took my card and gave us our drinks gave me my card back closed the window and we didn’t see her for almost 25 minutes!!! Not even I’m sorry it’s taking so long. I could not see her at all. Finally after 25 minutes she opened the window shoved the food out without saying anything and I grabbed the bag and the window shut. I had to beat on the window to get ketchup. Aggravated yes! But you would think the food would have been hot. Lol nope. Only half of it. We ended up throwing half the food away because it was cold and did not taste good. The dining room is closed and there is no way we are going back through that line. By far the worst experience ever at a fast food restaurant. This place is definitely on the list to avoid in our travels. I don’t ever write reviews but this one was definitely getting one. I hope you fix whatever is going...
