Waffle House — Restaurant in Florida

The eggs were decent the Grits were decent the French toast with raisins with seasoned I thought the way that they packaged everything together sucked gas for a takeout order even knowing it was busy and it's about a 35 minute walk from my house so it's not close by at all. And they were busy on a very weird time of the day for a Saturday at 12:00 at night the one cashier owner cashier who has gray hair in the older black guy and younger pink headed chick seemed to be very bossy and very pushy is the manager or the GM manager of the store seem to be really nice to cook the young black cook was very helpful and very nice yes I got my coffee mug that I bought but I also asked for a coffee to go and they refused to give me a coffee after you've been saying I want to buy a coffee mug and I want to fill it up with a coffee to go he said I would have to pay extra money to get the coffee to go he was kind of very pushy and then downtown was there he kept asking are you going to tip are you going to pay cash or card and then kind of got very you know bossy and I don't like that specially after having a long day and having to walk on top of that it was raining and it was pouring normally I get really good customer service from this Waffle House but I was kind of disappointed in how they treated me every time I walk in I feel like I get judged but like I said I've had a really good experience in the past I got the $12 menu on their menu and for somehow it added up to $19.32 somehow that didn't make sense and then after accusing the tip it went down to 17 dollars...

We arrived around 10:30 am. We were patient to wait for a table as it was full. After we sat it took 10 minutes for the waitress to attend to us. During that 10 min, wait, those who came after us were getting attended to. We finally spoke up, and the person cleaning the tables had to get our drinks. The waitress finally came to our table and took our order. I can't fault the server as you can tell she was the only one working taking orders on the floor and along the side seating though there were 3 waitresses and 3 cooks. The others were just standing around. Well, those who came in and placed their order received their food while we were still waiting 20 min. We asked about our food, and they said it was coming out. 2 minutes later a group sat behind us, and they were quickly served. Confusing because they came in 25 minutes after we came in. Finally, 2 of our 4 orders came out. We asked where our food well no on cooked it. Again, we are confused as our waitress put our order in at the same time. We finally decided to leave after the 2 in our group ate. The waitress apologize and felt so embarrassed and comped the meals, but again not her fault as she was the only one working the entire floor and she did her job by putting in our orders and the cooks just decided to bypass two meals.

I give this place a negative 10. Lacks of professionalism and care from the entire staff, not including our waitress that you can tell, was overwhelmed with...

When I walked in, I got that reception so familiar to a Waffle House Visit: "Good Morning!! Sit anywhere you like, and I'll be with you in a moment." Julia was my waitress and she was very pleasant. She has a great smile and the perfect server personality to go with it!! You know, the Waffle House is the Waffle House.... In that, you can almost always guarantee yourself a similar experience every time. When I'm on the road and hungry, most of the time, there is a Waffle House on the route. I was traveling home from a visit to Moffitt in Tampa. I actually knew that this Waffle House would be my lunch destination. I've eaten here several times. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Deluxe Sammich with a double order of hash browns. The food came piping hot and just as requested. Bacon on the side, lettuce, tomato and onion, and the hash browns only slightly crispy. I'm sorry about the picture here showing an incomplete plate. I was so hungry that I began to eat before I snapped a pic... Once I finished my lunch plate, I ordered a Blueberry Waffle. It too came piping hot and as requested. Dark and Crispy!! I left completely satisfied and quite full. This particular location gets it right every time. I lIve in Cape Coral, FL. We have two Waffle House locations on the Cape. I believe that they have the same owner. One is Stellar!! The other is Not...!! I believe that poor Management is too blame...
