Great pizza with a spectacular view. Ordered the clucker, the sausage and pepperoni, and the spicy hot pizzas. We also ordered the baked wings, and they were really good. Service was a little slow, but the food and sights were worth it.
Second visit today 7/21 and ordered the Philly steak egg rolls for an app that were delic. We also ordered the vegan protein bowl and the sweet heat pizza. I didn't disappoint. I have some of the most beautiful views and also had the opportunity to see a water spout from the roof top.... It's super cool. Prices average.
Third visit....... It's not a great one. First off, the place was empty, and they wouldn't seat us. Multiple empty tables and when the host asked stated we aren't seating anyone at this time due to weather. So........ Instead of letting us sit and wait, we had to stand and wait. Then, we ordered apps, and they brought our apps and dinner at the same time. It was chaos! The food was good as always. But service was not the best tonight.
11/11/21 beautiful views. Good food. It's always a nice time.
1/8/21 as always, the food is always good. We ordered the pretzel app, and there was enough for each of us to have our own. It was tasty with the choice of three dipping sauces. I love the vegan power bowl.....my going to dish. The other members in our party ordered pizzas and they all finished their own. The food is always amazing.
We had a 45-minute wait tonight when we were told 25 minutes. When we went to the roof top there were many empty tables... We assume they were short staffed. Our only complaint is the bartender... We had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, and she was annoyed to take our order; she only took half the group order and walked away. She rolled her eyes a lot, not just taking our order but the order next to us. She charged us $10 during happy hour for a drink, and the oncoming bartender charged us $5 for the same drink. Both were during happy hour and prices inconsistent. The only time she honey'd us was handing us bill. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but her. We enjoyed the food and views, so we won't let one sour apple ruin it.
7/22 took the family visiting to the roof top for dinner. A little disappointed the menu has changed since our last visit and my go to protein bowl no longer available. We ordered some pizzas and they were all tasty. Little pricey for 5 pizzas but the...
Read moreI just had to share one more amazing experience I had to share my amazing experience at Oak & Stone in Bradenton! During my stay at the hotel next door, I found myself visiting Oak & Stone daily for drinks, lunch, or dinner, and everything was absolutely fantastic. The service was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. A special shoutout to Jade, Marquis, Dave, Vince, and Taylor for making my visits truly unforgettable (I hope I spelled your names right!). There were also two wonderful individuals who helped me at the beer wall, but I didn’t catch their names. Here are some highlights from my meals: the wings were delicious with a lemon and pepper rub, the ahi tuna bowl was refreshingly tasty, and the watermelon refresher salad was perfect. The smash burger had a wonderful blend of flavors, and the chicken sandwich was just what I needed after a weekend of indulgence! The atmosphere is fun and lively, with beautiful views that enhance the experience. I can't recommend this place enough! I'm even brainstorming how to get one on Long Island—staff included!

Read moreWe decided to celebrate paying off our mortgage by going to Oak & Stone for a late lunch. We each got a celebratory drink, mandatory for such an achievement. I got the red sangria, and MAN it was delicious.
I got the VEGAN POWER BOWL for $12. It is a warm bowl of quinoa, superfood slaw, roasted mushrooms, carmelized onions, crushed avocado, roasted red peppers, & radish, and WOW! It was huge, so I had leftovers, and they were amazing, too.
Hubby had the GRIDDLE BURGER for $13, which had a melted cheddar blend, crispy onion straws, lettuce, secret sauce (a type of thousand island-like sauce). It came with fries. He said, "It sure beat a Wendy burger".
We did NOT eat on their rooftop dining, because the wait was 20-30 minutes when we got there and it was immediate seating for indoors. Unfortunately, the indoor seating was directly inside the front door. Our table was practically part of the lobby, and when it started getting busy, it got loud and crowded.
The beer wall was right next to where I sat. I didn't feel it was a part of our table, but it was awfully close. I would not want to sit there again, especially if it was anywhere near a meal rush.
They did have a Reward program, that I suggest you sign up for if there is ANY chance you will return. I wish I had known about it sooner. As it is, I lost this first $50 purchase because I learned about it too late. For each dollar you spend, you get a point. After 250 points, you get a $25 gift card toward your next purchase. See why I wish I'd known about it with our first $50? (You do get 25 points for signing up) So sign up with your first purchase if you like what you ate and think there's ANY chance you might return. Having it and not using it is better than losing that first chunk of points you would have earned.
Besides, I think you'll like it enough to return! The atmosphere is great. If you eat on the rooftop, you're right on the riverfront with AMAZING views! And they have...
