Sunny Seoul Korean Kitchen — Restaurant in Bradenton

I found this gem after a Google search for Korean food in the Bradenton area, while vacationing on the gulf. This is going to be our go to Korean Restaurant during our annual stay. We visited the temporary food truck in early May. Sunny was very pleasant. The food was surprisingly very tasty and I can't wait to try it again once they are permanently in the building. Don't get me wrong. The tent was a great reprieve from the baking sun, but just dining out of that sweltering sun would be heaven. Everything is cooked right there, in the truck. So it took a bit of time but man, was it worth it. We ordered the bibimbap, kimbap, and tofu doshirak. Very generous portions which we ate for dinner too. Possibly the best food truck around. If you’re passing by, live nearby, or even are willing to drive an hour, stop here!

The food was fresh, made to order, and very quick! I decided to go at 2:45 on a Saturday and had my food by 3:00 if not earlier.

The Honey Garlic Korean Chicken was out of this world. A must try. Do not skip out!

The menu is a little abnormal for our area but please consider broadening your pallet for this food truck. The Beef Bulgogi is incredible! And the rice cakes are cooked perfectly with a tangy spicy sauce. The drink options are mostly Korean sodas but they’re delicious!

You can pay with card easily and they’ll text you when your order is ready to be picked up. So sit in your air conditioned car and wait patiently for the delicacy’s to be made.

We have been meaning to come here since we drive by all the time. And I can’t believe we waited this long! As soon as we got into our car with the food the smells took over and we couldn’t wait to rush home and dig in!

The Bibimbap w/ Bulgogi Beef… a generous portion of rice piled high with various vegetables, pickles,perfectly cooked tender beef and a sunny side up egg. We got it with the spicy sauce! 10/10

Duk Bo Ki… These wonderful rice dumplings(awesome chewy texture) in a spicy & sweet sauce & a kimchi cucumber… 10/10
