Subway — Restaurant in Brainerd

The food was what I expected. The service however was disappointing to say the least. We visited around 2:00 PM to pick up a late lunch and were not greeted at all. I said hello and the employee stood there looking at me. I gave my order and proceeded down to another employee who was in charge of the vegies / condiments. Again, no hello or what can I get for you...instead he stood behind the counter and looked down at my sandwich. He never said a word or even looked up at me. The employee who was cashiering had a better attitude. No complaints with him. If you visit this establishment, be prepared for less than desirable service from the employees. Of course, this seems to be becoming the norm these days...

Went in for supper and told Donavon that I needed three 12 inch subs he got one 12 a d cut the other two into 6 inch when I told him I needed there 12 inch he threw the bread back into the warmer and rolled his eyes now mind you when I called to complain he was the j e in charge so I didn’t even say anything because it wasn’t going to any further than his ear. The lady named Amanda was super friendly and looked like she was enjoying her job the other girl I didn’t catch her name as she wasn’t wearing a name tag did say thank you but looked like she hated her job! Way to go Donavon for your great customer...

Had a dine in experience with my 2 year old. Was given the opportunity to watch how the employees were treated while taking other peoples orders, the two women working behind the counter are full of grace and resilience. Cheerful, hospitable, kind and polite, despite customers barking orders at them as if they were not actual human beings. These women work hard and are a great team. And for the rest of the world that comes in and orders food, remember a simple please and thank you and a smile never fails to make another person feel valued and seen. I'll be returning to this location again....
