Loco's — Restaurant in Braintree

Owner was nice, food was terrible. Lacked flavor and quality. I ordered steak, pork, and chicken taco's. The meat sits in a crock pot on the counter which is ok if you throw it on a grill and heat it up but that didn't happen here. So from the cold pot to flour tortilla is how it goes. Tortilla was low quality (similar to school cafeteria style) and came out of a bag and put in a steamer. The cheese and salsa was very low quality and had to have come from a bag as well. The tacos were cold, runny (not in a good way) and lacked the mexican flavor. Overall what it seems and taste like is an American attempting to make Mexican food which is fine if you know what you're doing but it's not the case here. Very reminiscent of me going over to a friends house and his or her mother who knows nothing about Mexican food makes tacos....

I hate to give a bad reviews, but I will not be recommending anyone here. My co workers and I order burrito bowls. They served us 1/2 a scoop of rice, rice is the cheapest part of the meal.Regardless the beans come straight from a can. If you go to an american mexican chain resturant, they serve you more out of the children menu. Went there got a "steak taco" it spilled all over my pants and stained because the salsa was so runny. I also got a burrito there was barley and rice, meat or beans, and no guacamole, and the tortillas were Stop and Shop Quality at best, with very small portions that left me hungry after.
