I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year now, at first I thought the treatment I was receiving was in my head but today on my monthly visit to the area I was made totally aware! This is a seat yourself restaurant so I sat in my normal spot by the windows and not one server came over to me and my fiancĆ© to even give us menus for about 7 minutes. Mind you this is and early Saturday afternoon they are not busy at all.( but they were standing at the post talking their heads off very unprofessional) then a lady walks up and places two menus on the table and says Your server will be with you shortly . We waited another 10 minutes then finally waved down a server and asked if we could please have some water while we wait for our proper server. So 5 minutes ( mind you the other server never gave us the water ) our actual server comes over smiling and says how are you today, I actually told her how unpleasant the experience was and then said I would be leaving . I asked for the manager at the front and spoke with a pleasant young man and explained that every time I have come to the place I have been treated poorly by the servers and I asked why? No answer for that but another man apologized and said next time they would do better. The point is I am a black woman, and every single time I have visited this place ( no matter if I was alone or with company) I have been treated poorly by the wait staff. I can always trust his recommendation of great Italian Fare. The Main attraction was the Pizza selection with so many great looking possibilities that I had to go over it three times before making my choice (Cheesesteak pizza); each selection was beautiful to see and totally tantalizing. It lived up to my expectation based on sight and bouquet. Bill had a slice of Bacon Ranch as well as one of the best looking Buffalo Chicken slices I have ever seen. I will definitely be trying that one when I return, and I definitely will be returning! Now letās talk staff. Margi (Hostess) and Amanda (Server) were awesome, super helpful and friendly. When I first entered I stood there for ten minutes and no one acknowledged my presence even though they kept walking past me. When I was seated the waitress came and took my order. I asked what was best, stuffed shells, manicotti, or Lasagna and she replied the shells. When my dinner arrived I waited for her to check back. I asked her where my stuffed shells were and she said that it was the baked shells. I told her that I ordered the stuffed shells and she disagreed constantly; what she did not realize is that I have never ordered baked shells and personally never heard of baked shells; so how could I ever order something I never ate or ever heard of. I think it is a special thing that a waitress can insist you said something and then not offer to replace it. To rip this off the shells were over cooked, dry, lacked flavor, etc. Finally when I asked where the soup I had to go was the waitress told me to ask for it at the register; so this is what I have to say.....poor service and lousy food.
